Atmosphere – 3/5
This location is your typical McDonald’s—nothing really stands out. It wasn’t overly dirty, but the dining area definitely needed some attention. There were visible crumbs on the floor, and parts of it were sticky, likely from spilled drinks or poor mopping. It wouldn’t hurt for the staff to tidy up a bit more during slower times.
Service – 3/5
The service was average. The gentleman who took my order seemed to struggle with a pretty simple request—I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese McMuffin with a folded egg instead of the standard round one. He had to get assistance to process it. I also tried to use the McDonald’s app to redeem points for a free iced caramel coffee, but he couldn’t get the code to work despite it showing up properly on my phone. After a few minutes of trying, he ended up giving me the coffee for free, which I appreciated. However, during my visit, I noticed several employees standing around and joking instead of using the downtime to clean. At one point, two of them even ran outside to vape. It just didn’t give off a very professional vibe.

The food was just okay. The sandwich was fine, nothing to rave about. The iced caramel coffee was a letdown—it lacked flavor and didn’t have enough caramel. I’ve had better McDonald’s coffee at other locations.

Like I said, this is a solid 3-star McDonald’s. I’ve been to better, and I’ve been to worse. If you’re in the Mannington area—which is pretty rural—you don’t have many fast food choices, so it’ll do in a pinch. Just don’t expect anything above average.

I was verbally assaulted today 12/8/2025 and the law was lied to there seams to be a communist attitude there in the evening.Mannington WV has gone lawless like back in the 20s during the oil boom.I also never thought I would have to post this but I have had in the past colon blow outs because of poor cooking and rotting sausage.

Both of the Waynesburg McDonald’s are horrible. The management is snarky and vile, the food is sub par for even McDonald’s. They won’t honor other McDonald’s coupons either! From what I understand these are both private franchise owned restaurants. The owners need to shape up or ship out. I ordered food online and was waiting in my parking spot for 10 minutes frustrated. I go inside to be politely ignored by the runner as she walked past me three times. I heard them asking about DoorDash and I stated, I am not DoorDash. I’m parking spot number two still waiting on his food. Still, without directly addressing me. I hear them arguing in the kitchen about.They can’t verify the meal. After a couple of minutes of hearing them, debate and still ignoring me as a customer, I walked out no food. I paid for my food. I call that a theft of services, and i’m never coming back

I was asked to pull in spot #1 which I had no problem with. We ordered a 10 piece nugget meal and a filet fish meal. We sat there for 25 minutes. I finally go in with my receipt and they don’t even know what I am talking about. Not one employee was friendly or apologetic. I was pressed for time at this point and when we start to eat, EVERYTHING WAS ICE COLD. Not even editable. I have let a lot of things slide at this location but today put me over the edge. Just gross.

Placed an online order after chorin’ for a quick snack and hung out on the parking lot to eat. The burgers had the McDonald’s flavor. The fries were definitely made to my liking and I ate a whole basket myself. Chicken nuggets were also perfect. Have no complaints. The drinks even tasted fresh fresh. Not like the CO² is almost empty. I’ll definitely be returning.

Come on McDonalds. Do better. Got my 9 year old a happy meal and the fries were cold as ice and you could tell they have been sitting in the warmer for awhile. It takes roughly 3 minutes to make new fries but y’all wanted to scrape the bottom and stick them in a child’s happy meal.
