1st off we decides to go here just to get The Grinch meal and was told they was out. So we order a number 7 and a Mcdouble meal. When asked for what sauces would we like, I state sweet and sour and barbecue. We didn’t get our full order nor did we get any sauces with our meals. DO BETTER!!!

I ordered a deluxe McCrispy meal with a sprite and a strawberry milkshake. I could excuse the unnecessarily long wait if it weren’t for the manager, Rose, treating two primarily Spanish speaking customers as if they were scum on her shoe, acting as if she couldn’t understand them saying Coca-Cola (even though I understood him perfectly from across the room). Especially when McDonalds prides themselves on being so language inclusive.

Stopped at the McDonald’s on Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley around 9:30–10 PM. Went through the drive-thru twice—first for 40 nuggets and two hamburgers (ketchup only), then again for a hamburger Happy Meal (also ketchup only). Basic food. No custom orders, no line, but both trips took forever. The guy at the window barely acknowledged us—face buried in his phone.
All the burgers had the correct labels—those little receipt tags taped right on top that say what should be on it. Every single one said ketchup only. Got home and opened them… and every single one was wrong. One was a cheeseburger with everything. One had mustard and pickles. One had mustard, pickles, and onions. None of them were correct, despite being labeled right.
My kid cannot eat onions, and I specifically told them ketchup only when I ordered. I submitted feedback and got a generic “sorry.” No offer to fix it, no apology that meant anything. Just careless and lazy. They still had two hours before closing—this wasn’t a rush-job. Just don’t bother with this location unless you like surprises in your food.

This location treats their door dashers like garbage. I understand they need to verify we are who we say we are. I understand a lot of deliveries get stolen and that’s why they have to double check and verify. But they act like it’s a complete inconvenience to them to do so. They will intentionally make you wait as like “revenge” or something. Then the customers food ends up getting delivered cold. And the dasher ends up getting bad ratings for being late! I would say management needs to train their workers better. But unfortunately it was management that gave me a hard time for every order picked up today. It got worse every time. Please treat your dashers better. We are out here struggling to make a living just like you! And I was nothing but respectful and friendly even after being treated badly. Please do better, these days things are rough. A simple smile could literally change someone’s entire week. I understand it’s hard out here. But if doing your job is an inconvenience to you. It may be time to start handing out resumes for a new one.

Amazing service, super friendly staff, and great location! Special mention to Abbie, who was super nice. We ordered hot teas, and she could see that it was hard to hold on to, so she just grabbed additional cups so we could place the original cups in them, and comfortably hold our drinks. She was also really nice, and the service was very prompt. Great service and great location!

3-16-2025 us and a door dasher lady ahead of us waited 20-30 minutes in the drive throu, figured they would come say something due to her food was already paid for, made no since, just say y’all’s closed, turn the sign off whatever! Dont look open and lead people on and wast our time. I even called the store no answer went to voicemail. So we pulled up to the first window because all the lights were on and a couple guys was walking around in there, but wouldn’t answer the phone or window. Food over the last year has gotten somewhat better but… everytime something stupid happens to us I just go to the one in Beckley for a few months just sucks cuz it’s further but is what it is down there! That fly was floating in our tea from there in Aug 30th of 2022 place was covered in flys, the manager at the time that still works there plum flipped out about the nastiness and all, It took us over a year or year and a half to go back! Truly Hard to get over nastiness like that!

This was by far the worst McDonald’s ever. The food took almost an hour. Then, when they didn’t have something, they offered a partial refund after making us wait 45 minutes! We ended up getting a whole refund and some of what we ordered but not all. When we got there, there was 45 minutes left of breakfast before they transitioned to lunch. By the time we received the first bit of our food and not the complete order they had transitioned to lunch. Terrible customer service, no one talked to anyone there, the left hand had no idea what the right hand was doing.

We needed a quick lunch so this establishment was close.We each had a quarter pounder w/cheese, large french fries and a half cut ice tea.WE ordered at the drive thru at prime lunch time and it went at a good pace .The QTR pounders were very good , hot ,fresh bun ,proper amount of condiments ,Great taste for fast food.The french fries were not as good as in past stops at this location ,not as HOT as usual and too much salt for my taste.The 1/2 cut sweet was prefect a good balance of sugar and ice , very refreshing .We will be back when the need arises.
