My husband and I ordered two double quarter pounder meals with no bun. They said they were short handed so they put both burgers on the Sam tray. His was basically raw. We learned our lesson here. ‍♀️

This McDonald’s is a standalone location in the South Ridge Shopping Center parking lot. It’s a fairly large building with a clean, modern exterior and updated signage. Inside, the restaurant features a good-sized dining area with a mix of seating styles — from high-top stools and traditional booths to comfortable, padded armchairs with a fun striped design that added a touch of style to the space.

One standout feature is the indoor kids’ play area, which is quite large — a rare sight these days, especially post-COVID. It’s a great bonus for families and adds value to the location.

The cleanliness was acceptable overall, though it could’ve used a bit more attention in a few areas. What really hurt the atmosphere rating, however, was the employees standing right outside the entrance smoking as I arrived. This is a huge turnoff — it feels unprofessional and unhygienic, and it immediately leaves a negative first impression. If not for that, I would’ve rated the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

‍♂️ Service: 4 out of 5

Service was better than expected. I had an issue using my McDonald’s app to redeem a free iced caramel coffee. One of the employees noticed I was having trouble, stepped in to help, and after trying to resolve it, simply gave me the coffee for free. She was friendly, helpful, and understanding — it’s always nice when a team member goes out of their way to assist a customer, even if the issue is with the app and not the store.

Food: 3 out of 5

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese McMuffin and a large iced caramel coffee. The McMuffin was decent — warm, with a good balance of flavor. Pretty standard but satisfying. Unfortunately, the coffee was way too sweet — so overpowering that I couldn’t even finish it. That knocked the food rating down for me.

✅ Would I return?
Sure — it’s a decent McDonald’s that offers the basics with a bit more style than average, especially for families with young kids. But I really hope McDonald’s — and fast food places in general — start enforcing better standards about employee visibility during smoke breaks. It really impacts the overall experience.

Poor service, waited 20+ minutes for our order which was 2 of the new sandwich meals and a happy meal, meat was pretty much raw on the sandwiches. The worke kept messing orders up and inbetween orders kept having to pull his pants up and fix his hair that didn’t have a net or a hat covering.

As a bit of a McConnoisseur, having dined at McDonald’s both foreign and domestic across many states, I can confidently say this is the only location that has ever been consistently slow at breakfast. Not a one-off visit. Every time. And when I say slow, I’m including the time in London when I had to explain to both the employee and the manager that I wanted a sausage biscuit and they thought I was asking for a sausage wrapped in cookies.

I have never in my life experienced anything like I experienced here. The closest is when I went to a KFC and they had no chicken. I went to the drive-thru here and I got no response at all for about 10 minutes from the speaker. Thankfully I was in the front of the line. I had ordered in the app so I changed it to pick up inside thinking there was something wrong with the speakers. No, it wasn’t the speakers. I went inside and there were 16 people irate and hungry. Some of them had been there for an hour and a half already. I ended up spending 59 minutes myself before I finally walked away with no food and no refund. I’ve still never gotten a refund from it. No food was coming out of the kitchen other than two or three orders the entire time I was there, and those orders were completely wrong, like every single one of them. There are only three people working and only one looked like he gave a crap about what he was doing. The others just moved along slower than molasses in winter with no concern about anything. I also saw the guy scratch himself and then make a sandwich with no gloves. Beyond unbelievable. And I’d like a refund eventually, though I’m not holding my breath.

The drive through wait times are simply despicable. Consistently, at least 30 minutes at the drive through, even if you order online. Sitting at the driver through speaker for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledges my presence, just for me to tell them my magic online number and to wait another 10 minutes in front of an open window. I don’t know if it’s a lack of employees, or a lack of hustle, but I personally see about 10 potential customers drive away just in the 30 minutes I am there because of the atrocious wait times. If you can’t run your service times or staff your store properly, it needs to close.

Been held hostage in the drive thru for like 30+ minutes now and the parking lot is designed so stupidly that we can’t escape. Breakfast order was screwed up this morning too. This McDonald’s just flat out sucks.

I went in Sunday, 12/7 at 6:45 PM. I ordered an ice coffee on the app. When I walked in, 6 people were also standing in line waiting. A lady & her daughter were waiting at the pick up section of the counter for their food. They told me they had been there for 30 minutes. This lady had to stop an employee to ask. The employee acted as if this was the biggest inconvenience of her life, and said, I’ll check. The shift lead (a lady with short hair and glasses) comes up with her food. The customer said I hope this food isn’t cold. She checked. It was cold. The shift lead had the audacity to say, it’s not that cold. We could remake it, but I think that’s fine. The woman laughed and took the food. Who knows how long that would’ve taken. After that, a gentlemen was disputing the previous day where he waited AN HOUR for his food and never got it. He had to go back to work. The cooperate officer sent him to the store to either collect a refund or have his food made then. The older woman at the counter said sir, I need a receipt. He ordered his food on the app. He showed the app screen and the woman said that’s not his receipt. The shift lead comes back up to talk to him and is immediately hostile. She told him she can’t get food for him or a refund and that he shouldn’t have left the prior day without either. She insinuated that he was lying. The customer was getting irate at this point and leaves. After that (20 minutes later), I mention my iced coffee to the older lady. She says “hold on I’m just 1 person” and storms off. The entire team is talking behind the counter about the irate customer that just left. Meanwhile, their line is to the road outside, and now there’s around 10-12 people inside waiting. ANOTHER 10 MINUTES goes by, and they bring me my coffee. The iced was nearly melted. I just took it and left.

This is nearly the worst fast food experience I’ve ever received. I have been eating at this McDonald’s since I was a kid. It’s horrible to see the quality go so downhill. The staff is rude, the wait is awful, and the food is cold when you get it. It is going to take some serious work to fix this place and even more work to fix the reputation. i waited in the drive through for an hour and a half for a mobile order i had already paid for, they took multiple cars in the 2nd lane before taking lane 1, and i saw several people inside getting their orders before drive through was ever spoken too.

This place is horrible! You sit in the drive thru forever whether your the only car or there are 5 cars. They always mess something up. I have had my order rang up , paid for it, get to the window and then they say we dont have that i can get u something else. NO you should have to me from the beginning.not after sitting and waiting 15 mins in drive thru. Horrible, also rude.
