Not the most ideal McDonald’s location due to the amount of people lingering around the outside, so I usually stick to mobile orders since it’s quicker and easier to get in and out.
One night I forgot to place my drink order, so when I pulled up to the first window I tried to order it with the cashier. She waved me forward and asked what I wanted, but after I told her I wanted to order drinks, she told me I had to do it at the next window. The way she kept signaling me to just go rather than opening the window and asking what I needed for me to move felt dismissive, like she just didn’t want to help.
Overall, convenient for mobile orders, but customer service at the window could definitely be improved.

Had a mobile walk-in order at this location. Beggars outside followed us into the McDonald’s and followed us to our parked car after we received our order. Beggar continued to follow our driving car and even tried to block our exit from the parking lot. Overall, I felt very unsafe here and will never come to this location again, even in a group. I do not recommend ever walking into this location alone.

UPDATE: Downgrading from 5 to 3 stars. The experience here is probably not atypical for a McDonalds, but still not idea. I’ve ordered from here many times with no incident but several times have been left waiting for longer than expected or necessary. A lot of the employees are Hispanic which is fine, but sometimes hard to understand. Not often but sometimes they’ll give a bit of attitude. If I have a question, I’ll walk right up to the counter and wait for someone to assist. It’s actually common to stand there as either no one stops to assist, actively avoids eye contact forward even if idle, or outright ignores.
This franchise(?) being part of the McDonald’s ecosystem suffers from the inflated prices and awful mobile app experience, not having all the menu options, having menu options this location doesn’t carry, and technical bugs/glitches. This franchise also has some of the oldest building/interior features, no kiosks, and is in a not great location where there are often grifters, beggars, homeless, and/or weirdos loitering outside.
It’s one of the older style McDonald’s but I have no issue with it. No kiosks either but plenty of room, nice staff in my opinion, good service, and all standard fare stuff. The area is a bit iffy so some people in and around are weird but not an issue.

This McDonald’s was really disappointing. The place was dirty — tables and floors hadn’t been cleaned, and the trash bins were full. It also took forever just for our order to be taken, and the staff didn’t seem organized at all.
We also paid for food that was supposed to come with Monopoly game pieces, but we didn’t get any. When we asked about it, no one had an answer or seemed to care, which was really frustrating.
Another issue is that there were a lot of homeless people just hanging around or staying inside for long periods. I understand everyone needs somewhere to go, but it made the place feel unsafe and uncomfortable for families trying to eat.
Overall, the visit was slow, messy, and poorly managed. Definitely not the kind of experience you expect from McDonald’s.

Is this a joke??? I even asked for more spicy sauce and they do this to me. It feels like it was on purpose at this point cause how can someone be so cruel and minorly inconvenience me tonight! AND I paired for extra spicy sauce and extra ranch… Guess who didn’t get those ♀️

Worth a visit to see the most run down Mcd’s in VA. Bathrooms look like a bomb hit them. soda fountains don’t work. Very low level for a McDonald’s. Some very sketchy customers that you have to be careful interacting with. Not modern at all no kiosks. Cashiers are good though and food is typical McDonald’s quality. The phone app allows you to do everything the kiosk can.

Beggars at the doors. Beggars in the parking lot. Beggars before the drive-in. Beggars after the drive-in. Feels unsafe to refuse the beggars and walk inside, they’ll bang on your car if you refuse them in the drive-in. Have not seen management running them off.

Went at 9pm on a Monday and was harassed by beggars in the parking lot. Haven’t felt that unsafe in quite some time. Was followed to and from my car and inside the restaurant as well. Avoid this location.
