We had Shawn and Jonas as our cashiers and they were so sweet. It was 12:30 at night and they made sure to double check our orders. They were just so kind and had the biggest smiles on their faces. They give me hope for humanity. So grateful for their interactions.

I ate at this McDonald’s today and it was not a pleasant experience. First of all, the side door was locked so I had to enter through the main door. Second, the bathroom was locked so I had to get assistance to use it. With so many locked doors I got the feeling that there is something dangerous about this location. Also, the water didn’t work in the sinks. So no way to wash my hands after doing my business and prior to eating. Third, I ordered my meal using the digital screen. Of course, no receipt printed because it was out of paper. I grabbed my table tent and sat down. About 15 minutes later my food had not been brought out to me so I went to the counter to inquire. Well, it had been sitting there and was no longer hot. The ticket showed my table tent number but they neglected to deliver my order to my table. Fourth, there was no self serve ice tea refill. I had to request a refill at the counter. Needless to say, I will not give this particular McDonald’s any future business. The only positive thing to report is that it seemed to be relatively clean inside.

3.4 stars, eh? This management obviously sucks. Teach your employees to announce when mobile orders are ready. My bag sat behind the front counter after I ordered inside my vehicle and entered the store to wait. If your employees are too shy to do that, incentivize them with a little more pay. Y’all are rich.

So
I ordered not using the app just straight up using the kiosk, a large iced caramel coffee with extra caramel upon receiving my cup. There was absolutely no caramel anywhere in the cup. I asked them to add more and after leaving and placing my straw into my cup I began drinking the coffee. I wasn’t even greeted by the taste of Sweet caramel, instead it was straight coffee and cream or milk. Even now it tastes like semi-burnt coffee with a superficial hint of caramel. Common sense would tell you if a person orders. Extra caramel Coats the entire inside of the cup with caramel, then add ice, then the coffee then milk. Overall please learn proper technique for adding caramel to coffee.

Second time in a week I’ve ordered the #4 which is supposed to be the sausage + egg on a biscuit. Never has this meal had cheese but someone here keeps adding cheese to it. Unless they changed it and failed to change the menu, this shouldn’t have cheese on it.

This store has been upgraded with comfortable seats since my last visit. There was an error with my order, but nothing was wrong with the food. The store, for whatever reasons, had one of the exits blocked. I hope they fix whatever the problem is and make the store safer and up to code.

Location constantly forgets items. When I report the issues with McDonald’s corporate (through their app), they tell me to take it up with the franchise owner, which gets me nowhere. Between this store and the one further down Sudley Road, I have had multiple orders where they forget items and refuse to do anything (credit or refund). McDonald’s food isn’t worth the costs, especially if they can’t guarantee I’ll get what I pay for. Time to move on, I guess.

I visited this McDonald’s today to get some nuggets for my grandchildren. After ordering, I reviewed my receipt and noticed that I was charged $3.24 for a medium fries, which I did not order. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nuggets meal with medium iced tea and medium fries. I also order 2 6-piece McNuggets kids meal with milk. When I brought it to the team member’s attention, he spoke to the supervisor and proceeded to ask if I would like a pie instead of the fries to which I said no. Next he wanted to know if I wanted to substitute the fries for something else. It was so frustrating that they rather harass me about returning my money for something I did not order or wanted. I ended up taking the medium fries and dumping it. I generally only stop there on an occasional Sunday morning for an oatmeal and coffee. The service was slow and horrible. I do not plan to stop by this location again. They refused to reimburse my $3.24 but they will lose more than that in the end.
