My food was fresh I will give it that. It was nice and hot. But my issue was the new burger they have and the shamrock shakes. The burger was the sloppiest burger I’ve ever had. I took two bites and said it was enough by how much sauce was covering the entire thing. The milkshake I was excited for I love shamrock shakes. What I don’t love is that it tastes like I squeezed a tube of toothpaste in my mouth. I was upset I had to throw my whole order out because people want to be sloppy and not care how to make stuff right.

Went at a busy lunchtime and had to wait a few minutes to order & again for the food. Was happy that staff moved a slow order to 2nd pickup window allowing several of us to get our order and go from the 1st pickup window. Have to say that the 2 sandwiches and the fries were outstanding. Best fries I have had from McDonald’s in memory, hot and not undercooked. I see why this location was so busy

Honestly I would give it zero if I could. This is the closest location to our house so we’re here fairly often and honestly I’ll drive the extra 5 minutes to go to the next location they are so bad. I pulled up and literally thought they were closed it’s so dead and I’m STILL sitting in a parking spot waiting for my food. And they suddenly stopped filling cups up all the way and blamed it on the ice machine?! Uhm so fix it? It’s been that way for months now. I’m sure it’s just the illusion that I’m getting less to drink if it’s just ice that’s missing but there’s a good inch empty at the top of the cup… it’s not a good look. I’ve never come here and not waited an ABSURD amount of time for fast food! Honestly not ever coming here again even though it’s way more convenient than going further.

We are door washers and happen to even see the owner there this visit. This store obviously doesn’t care about doordash orders. There were 4 washers in there waiting on orders. At least 5 dd orders on the screen. The guy that takes care of the parking lot was trying by himself to take care of curbside and doirdash orders and had no training and no help. When it was mentioned to the owner about helping him out, he said oh no I don’t do that. There’s never a backup like that at schuylkill haven or hamburg.

I dine here regularly because I support people in the community so my stars here are an average experience over time. I am there mostly on Saturdays for lunch when things are very busy.
The staff energy of this location is young and vibrant overall. It is clear that the managers have their hands full with tasks and staff. They are always friendly. There always seems to be new staff getting their feet wet when I am there, and a helpful manager present.
When a manager is there, front kiosk service seems to be “stationed.” Somebody is clearly dedicated to the assignment. When a manager is not there, it can be a challenge getting noticed. Even so, the issue is that you are not being noticed, not that you are being snubbed or that staff is being rude. Staff are always very nice. I have grown to appreciate a few of them, especially how they treat my client with special needs.
The food, for the most part, isgood. The quarter pounders are always “wet” as my client like to call it. (This means hot and fresh). If a manager is not present (usually on other days), the food quality goes noticeably down. It is clear the managers affect the place in a positive way. (Judging by the reviews, it seems like it might be important to know WHEN it’s best to go to this McDonald’s.)
Prices are McDonald’s prices. Nowadays you should never go to McDonald’s without the app. At this particular McDonald’s, the food quality is worth whatever value you commit to when you walk in the door with your wallet.
One thing that I do not understand is whether or not you are supposed to get your cup or be given your cup. Ordinarily you got your own cup, then it changed, so you were then given the cup. But the staff did not bring you a cup. There were times I was given a cup and then delivered a drink. As of this review you can grab a cup. I think.
Overall, a good McDonald’s location. Clean, bright and open atmosphere.

Every time I stop at the drive through, since there are dual ordering lines. They take the orders from the opposing line, (customers that arrive after me) 2 or 3 customers in a row, before taking my order. What ever happened to first come first served?

The manger there during the day Mike know what he’s doing and knows how to keep things running smoothly. He even came behind the counter on what looked like his day off to show the newbies how it’s done and how to make things correctly and efficiently on EVERY station. Not sure where the manger on shift was exactly.

If I could put zero stars i would. I waited for 25 minutes went into the restaurant no one waited on me so went thru the drive thru waited another 10 minutes. To get my order that I ordered curbside. Only for them to hand me a bag of cold food thats been sitting there for 20 minutes. It’s understandable if it was a large order hut it was not at all. The most insincere apologies. Like they make this mistake all the time and don’t care.

I’ve ordered here once before and both times were bad experiences but this time was awful , ordered through curbside pickup as always and was sent a confirmation that my order was on the way to me. Waited 15 minutes and at that point I was late for work and quite furious, it wasn’t until I parked the car and went inside that someone was bringing it out , come to find out my food had been sitting there waiting for the car parked next to me food to be ready which is crazy because they parked up over 10 minutes after I did. Food was cold and had no time to run in and get it fixed due to me being late for work , This was the second time I ordered and my food was brought out over 20 minutes after.

I asked for an iced Carmel coffee …. With four liquid sugar and 4 extra cream and it tastes like straight up black coffee yet charged me for my items inside the coffee and had to go in three times and still couldn’t fix it right !!! So I have it back to them ! Bs!
