My fiancée and I are truckers and rarely feel at home when we go into places to eat but tonight we had the absolute best experience at Denny’s thanks to Janis! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome and comfortable — like we were guests in her own home. Her energy was warm, genuine, and attentive in a way that you just don’t see every day.
Janis truly went above and beyond to make our dinner special. She checked in on us at all the right times, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a kind and positive attitude the entire night. It wasn’t just great service — it was an experience. She made us feel valued, cared for, and completely at ease.
Because of Janis, our dinner felt less like a quick meal out and more like a cozy dinner at home. Denny’s is lucky to have someone like her representing them. We’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Janis again!

I been stopping here for few years now and tabby is awesome she is always has a smile on her face and she goes out of her way to get whatever I need and most importantly coffee cup she’s on top of it all the time never get emty.

I love this Dennys! I always have an excellent experience every time I come here! The lobby is nice and large with plenty of seating, comfy booths and large windows to see outside. The lighting is nice, warm and very cozy on rainy or snow days.
The waitresses here are always very attentive, kind and working hard to help everyone.
I appreciate that the menu has a lot to offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They usually always have unique seasonal offerings like fun drinks and themed pancakes and they even have items for specific diets with choices like plant-based burgers.
I often visit with my coworkers after work or with family and we always have a great experience. This time that I went I ordered the fish platter and it came out looking amazing and tasted delicious!

Our server Maribel was pleasant, patient, and was quick to take our orders we didn’t have to wait and we was satisfied how quickly the cook had prepared our meals and the timing of our orders was brought to us.We was very satisfied with our food,the atmosphere made us feel welcomed,as well as the employees. Restrooms were clean and well kept up. The oreo brownie is definitely one of my new favs . I noticed the manager Rosa had no problem jumping in there to help her employees if needed. The service was great and the staff worked well together. As you can read there’s not a complaint one from these customers

Raylynn was awesome.
We showed up at 9PM on Thanksgiving. Party of 7.
Drinks were fast. She let us know they were short staffed so the kitchen was a little slower than normal. She kept up on drinks and made sure we were okay with the wait.
It didn’t end up taking super long compared to some places.
Food was delicious. The ranch was the best I’ve ever had. (This from an Iowa girl….we drink that stuff here for breakfast)
We got the GrandSlamwich x2
Lumberjack combo add side of biscuits & gravy
Burger x2 (You could tell it was hand pattied at the least because it was falling apart a little and not a perfect shape…. not a complaint just an observation. It was actuallyreally delicious)
Chicken Club
Hashbrowns & another side (cant remember lol)
Not a single complaint. Paid extra for the seasoned fries for all meals. They were really good as well.

I love Going to hear the Denny’s at Whiteland Very Good service… Morning Server Name is “Tabitha” She does a great job here!!! Today @ 8:00 Am I Had Maribel nice Spanish girl Server . She was actually a service took care of my needs and Also, the New GM there Rosa!! She been there long time as AST/MGR. (Merrillville & Tabitha) the best 2 Servers there. And I love going there Very Conscientious about their Service .. this is one of my best Denny’s is# one & Greenwood would be My Second choice..
