This is supposed to be my favorite McDonald’s, since it’s close to my house, just a minute away. But… it’s not. For the past few months, it’s been disappointing. I don’t know if it’s the employees—they’re not the same, or they’re young and distracted, or just old and grumpy. About two weeks ago, I bought two Happy Meals and one Crispy Chicken Burger, and my stomach started churning after the third bite. I thought it was because I was really hungry, but it wasn’t. For three days, my stomach was upset, and I couldn’t leave the house. I thought about suing, but I’m not one of those people who are quick to take action. So I said, if this continues tomorrow, I’ll have to go to the hospital and sue. Thank God my stomach reacted to the antacids… you know what I mean. Anyway, today I went again because I was passing by with my daughters, and they wanted another Happy Meal. And surprise! The service was terrible. The employee was very grumpy. The same girl was working two windows. And on top of that, they didn’t put the dressing we ordered on one of the boxes. It was BBQ to go with the chicken nuggets. And they gave us something else. At the window, the 6-year-old girls noticed that the woman was very stressed. Maybe that’s why they treated us so badly. And one of them said, “They should hire more employees, since we waited longer than we should have.” The other replied, “Maybe they don’t want to hire more employees because they’re more worried about making money than taking care of their customers.” Can you imagine? A 6-year-old girl realizing what McDonald’s is: a giant company with tons of money. I mean, honestly, I’m very disappointed with this store. Quite the opposite of the other McDonald’s we have 20 minutes away. I can’t say anything but good things about it. The juiciest hamburgers. The fries are super crispy and delicious. The chicken burger is super crispy, juicy, and delicious. And the service is wonderful. It’s my favorite fast-food restaurant. And there are always two wonderful older women working there. This McDonald’s is in McElhattan, PA. I highly recommend it, even though it’s a bit far from Lock Haven. It’s worth it for the service and the quality of the food.

I opened the McDonald’s app to order a cone to satisfy my sweet tooth when I noticed they also had IBC Root beer as a fountain drink! And you already know what I’m thinking! Root beer float for the win!

Stopped in here for the “play place”. It was a bunch of computer screens…. had to order from the kiosk cause there was no one at the counter. They didnt even respond to the help button my boy pressed.. took 15 mins to get our food. And not sure what they have done to their buns but they are much more rubbery than i remember.
Better off going to a decent restaurant these days if you wanna dine in.

The dining area closes right around 9pm which is slightly annoying for college students since the dining hall is also closed. They would make more money if they were opened at least until midnight. Never had a bad experience or bad meal.

Very cozy location, outlets are abundant if needed for studying or charging a phone, good cheap snacks or drinks to go along or cheap meals if you’re feeling it. I’d say the breakfast options are better but the lunch/dinner menu has its stars too.

I ordered Big Mac, and experienced a true shock. Before that the last time I ate a meal in McDonald’s
was probably before COVID. This time I got a ‘substance’ that has Zero resemblance with Big Mac I used to know. Not sure if the issue is related to this place, or the chain in general. Honestly, I have no desire to find out!
