The employees at this McDonald’s are kind, but too nonchalant. My problem is that something is almost always forgotten, or wrong. I ordered two triple cheeseburgers last night, but both were only double cheeseburgers, as pictured. After being asked to pull forward and wait more than 10 minutes in a parking space for fast food, I didn’t bother to check the bag until I got home. One thing I did immediately check for was salt packets I asked the girl at the second window to put in the bag, to which she responded, “Of course!” No salt packets to be found, and salt has to be put on fries when they’re still hot or it won’t stick. There were also no napkins in the bag. I know people shouldn’t expect a lot when getting fast food, but I’ve managed several fast food places and have no idea how this place stays in business. The only saving grace is that the fries were fresh, and the employees were nice. I don’t want a refund for the two burger patties I didn’t get, but I’d love it if this McDonald’s could find employees/a manager who actually cares about how the place is run.

90% of the burgers i get from this location look like this. these pictures are of 2 different burgers i received. i don’t even know how you manage to do this it always looks like they punched my burgers before throwing them into the bag. i have to very carefully unwrap the burgers as to not get it everywhere.
the food itself is alright. unfortunately this mcdonald’s is the closest one to where i live now. if you want better food, go to the thurmont mcdonalds.

The bathroom was very clean only one toilet though . A group of kids was sitting next to me, they were peacefully talking. Lady sweeping while people are eating she says to them something ,they remark back something quietly, along the lines of this place is dirty, lady starts freaking out. Yelling at them to get out! leave! Half a minute later, the manager (kinda cute) comes out and ask them to be respectful, tell them to keep their feet off of the chairs,or get out (which I didn’t see them doing at all personally) they said we’re leaving anyway and left. I got my food and the fries were skimpy down to barely the u-shape of the container. All in all the quiet place

Ordered large smoothies twice, received a medium both times. Called the second time, told them it was a medium, they swore up and down that’s just what their large size looks like for those drinks, I told them we received a large before and this was clearly a medium just for her to tell me I never did..how can you tell me what I haven’t got before? Just for comparison, i also ordered a MEDIUM frappe which was the correct size, so tell me why all the cups are the same size and they all say MEDIUM on the side? Genuinely hilarious, I wish it let me upload a picture here because I 10000% would.

Just left this location. According to our receipt we waited 25 minutes in the drive thru. I thought maybe they were understaffed and struggling…. nope. 5 different people in one area all talking and laughing. I could literally see my order sitting on the counter but they were too busy joking around and hanging out to give us our food. We waited 25 min for literally no reason other than lazy staff.

Very poor service and experience. sat in line 30+ minutes even though they were not busy and watched the man in front of me wait in the second lane at the speaker while 5+ cars went in the first lane albeit slowly until he and the car behind him got mad and left. I regrettably stayed as I had a mobile order id already placed for 2 cokes and an ice cream and switched lanes to the 1st, then with the two cokes and ice cream I got, all 3 lids were not on, and were simply slapped on. As I left the lid immediately fell off the ice cream and the poorly slapped together sundae spilled everywhere. I then proceeded to try and eat the excuse of a sundae only to find a 5 inch long hair completely inside the soft serve somehow. Needless to say, this McDonald’s has fallen far below the already low standards of fast food.

I had a positive review for this location, which switched to a negative review. The problem with this location happens to be the franchise owners. I filed a complaint with the corporate office a month ago in regards to the same thing everyone else is complaining about (horrible service, incorrect orders, slow times, young staff just goofing off) and the response I received from the franchise owners was a “WE CAN DO WHAT WE WANT, BECAUSE WHERE ELSE ARE YOU GOING TO GO?” type of response (paraphrasing.) Its not going to change here.

I shouldn’t have to wait this long (25 mins) for a simple order of a burger, fries, and a drink. Something that they should be doing all day long. It’s McDonald’s, everyone wants to eat here, but no other restaurant in PA is as slow as this one.

All the food was made fresh and everything tasted amazing. The crew did a great job getting my food out to me in a timely manner and the woman at the register was very friendly. Amazing service all the way around!
