Never been more disappointed. Visited this McDonalds on 3/01, around 6:50 AM. The app and internet both said that they were open at 6 AM. I waited at the drive through line for 15 minutes and no answer. When going around to the doors, where it clearly stated they opened at 6 AM, the doors were locked. After getting in my car and deciding to leave I witnessed two employees outside smoking with their headsets ON. They both looked and waived at me like nothing had happened.

Went to get the new McArch. Ordered and paid through drive thru, should have checked order (stupid me for not). Got a messy Big Mac instead. There was soo much lettuce I thought it was a salad at first. Fries were good, drink was flat and warm.

I had high hopes today, I had been craving a Big Mac all day and was excited to finally get one tonight. I ordered my food, everyone in my car got their right orders. Stupidly I suppose, I didn’t look at mine until I got home. I come to find not even a burger in the bag, instead cold chicken nuggets. With random sauces that I did not request mind you. I tried to make the best of my situation and just eat the nuggets, however they were awful. I don’t know how you guys cook those things, but I do not believe mine touched heat at all. I might as well have just ate a potato for how dry and unflavorful the fries were as well. I will not be coming back here at all.

Wow, I just cannot believe the audacity of some people. I was actually at this location on 09/14/25 at 0850 for breakfast. I typically use the app for drive-through ordering. While waiting my turn, I watched the typical exchange between employees and customers. Then I watched the man in front of me open the bag of food, reach in, look around at the items, return the bag to the employee, and drive off. I thought that was a little weird and not a common thing. I then pull up, and the same bag is now being handed to me. I’m not sure if I’m living in the twilight zone. But I’m sure that their policy is a health hazardand not only a contamination risk. And a quick Google search and the policy basically prohibits employees from taking back and re-serving any food that has already been given to a customer. Any food item returned by a customer, even if it’s a mistake, must be immediately discarded. But, after the employee handed the bag to me, I asked if this was the very same bag the customer previously had and opened. She said yes and proceeded to tell me he only had it for a second. I asked for a full refund. Which was promptly given to me. My concern, though, lies with the fact the employee was so casual about a potential health and safety issue. I would like to see this resolved and followed up on. Cross posted on Facebook and here

This is a disgrace to the Golden Arches. Ray Kroc would be rolling in his grave. I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews but this is a constant for this McDonalds in Slippery Rock. I don’t know who is running this franchise but they may want to come into their store and see how ridiculous it is being operated. Enjoy waiting in long drive through lines to spend around $10 to get this type of food.

If you leave this location with everything you’ve ordered you are lucky. The last time I was here they forgot half of my big Mac. The time before that they only gave me one of the two cheeseburgers in the two cheeseburger meal I had ordered. I wish I was joking to be funny but this place is itself a joke.

I loved McDonald’s as a kid. However…over the last couple of decades…I felt they changed their food/ recipes so much that it really lacked the old taste everyone loved so much. In the last year or so I’ve noticed the food actually tastes good again!! You really can’t beat McDonald’s french fries! Go ahead and give em a try again. I think you’ll agree the food IS really good
