I had the worst experience ever at this McDonald’s. I’m from out of town and landed at the airport in Syracuse at 6:00pm on November 6th. Closest McDonald’s for a quick meal was this one, so I went here. I ordered my burger and fries and began to wait.
And wait, and wait, and wait……and wait. I waited for over 45 minutes for my meal at this location due to pure and utter incompetence from basically every single member of the team. Let me explain further.
They had made my burger about 15 minutes into the wait (which is too long anyways but that’s besides the point). It sat there for ages because they had no fries made and everyone who walked by 50 times each refused to put any in the fryer, including the “manager” that was working at the time. I finally got my meal 45 minutes into waiting (there were people there longer than I was), and they didn’t even get the burger right. And on top of that, it was cold from sitting there. So I brought it back and told the manager she got it wrong.
The manager, I believe her name was Mandy and is the biggest joke of a manager I’ve ever seen and shouldn’t be anywhere near the position she has currently, grabs my burger and I state it needs to be fresh and done right. She brings it around the corner, comes back 30 seconds later and gives it back. Obviously I’m going to check it again, so I open it up and all she did was change the top bun and left all the toppings that I didn’t want on it. I turned back around and said to her “I don’t really appreciate being treated like I’m stupid. You only replaced the top bun, which is stale by the way, and left everything else on it and gave it back. It’s the same cold burger” (with some choice words involved). She then said “okay I’ll just give you a refund”, opens up the register and gives me 15 bucks cash and walks away like the clown she is.
I should have read the reviews before coming to this location as it’s now obvious that this is a long standing issue with this “manager”. Zero people wearing hair nets either, zero people giving a shit whatsoever.
Don’t waste your time here.

Maybe im old but these kids suck at customer service. Hopefully they understand sooner or later these bad attitudes ALL THE TIME won’t work in there favor. Teach your kids the importance of being professional in a work setting

Not to start this review aggressively, but I’m pretty sure that nobody at this location can count. I ordered through Uber eats 4 pumpkin creme pies. Only two pies came and there was nobody who reached out to me from the McDonalds regarding the change. The bag was sealed upon arrival so no, the driver didn’t take anything. I’ve noticed when you order past 7pm, workers tend to just not bother making certain items or slack off. I’m paying for the food beforehand. Regardless of whether you don’t feel like making it or not, I would gladly have taken a substitution if someone would have reached out to me. This is ridiculous and I hope a manger sees this review and contacts me. I’ve had this happen twice within the past two days and now Uber Eats may think I am trying to scam the restaurant because of my reports. Don’t order from here past 7pm apparently.

Was not impressed by this location. My order was wrong I tried to call to get management an opportunity to make it right they chose to ignore me how unprofessional can they possibly be. Shame on them. Plus on top of that false advertisement they ever ties that they were participating McDonald’s employee and then I never got any of the pieces and when I questioned why I didn’t there was no answer just silence. I hope management year takes a really long hard look at themselves and actually tries to do the right thing and gains a little bit better customer service skills or at least I hope corporate sees this message and tells them they should be a little bit more professional in the future it’s a little bit ridiculous

I cannot tell you how many times i’ve ordered on the app at this location and they cannot make their burger properly. I ask for a bacon double qtr pounder with cheese. One time it’s missing cheese. The next theres only one burger patty. Today theres no bacon. Get it together people, reading is important.

Cleanest and best staffed McDonald’s I’ve been to in the past ten years. Good was excellent. Staff was super friendly and professional. Restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. Kudos to manager and staff of the N Syracuse franchise!

By far the slowest “fast food restaurant” I’ve been to in a long time. We were trying to grab a quick bite before a flight . We took them to run and when we got to the airport discovered our orders were wrong.

Very frustrated. Order taken well but waited over 20 minutes for 2 happy meals and a burger. Very poorly managed and workers joking around and uncaring. Drive thru takes precedence and inside diners wait forever for food. Done with this location. Used to be great.

Waited 27 minutes to receive a disgusting chocolate shake, cold stale fries and the wrong sandwich on a rock hard bun. There was a line of cars around the building in the drive thru, 6 people standing inside to receive thier food and about 10 “workers” standing talking about their days doing absolutely nothing. Every time someone asked what was taking so long all they said was “we’re working on it”. Everybody that got their food before had something wrong with it too. Worst McDonald’s I have ever been to, worst customer service I’ve ever had and completely non edible food. I will say the workers have what sounds like a fun weekend ahead of them, they all have big plans and not a single one is to work to the best of their ability.
