I get it… its McDonald’s… but come on…
If the boss wants to watch the video cameras, it happened on 3:10pm march 2nd, 2026. You watch and see how long I waited JUST TO ORDER and tell me if that’s acceptable.
The manager said that because I got there past 10:30 and because I was doing drive-thru, my order was no longer feasible and wouldn’t be made. I thought that was bullshit. What is even the point of ordering for my food, knowing I am on my way there, only to be told that I was too late? When was this even a rule? I have ordered mobile for indoors and drive-thru all the time and have gotten my order PAST 10:30.
I tried to get my money back. I spent $15 and 4000 points on getting breakfast through the mobile app and I wanted my money back. They would not give it to me. Told me I had to call the corporate number.
So no refund and no breakfast. I double checked my online reciept. Not only did it say that I could no longer cancel but it says that my order is being made and will be ready. Not only that but it says I ordered at a different location in Saratoga. WHAT??? I called the corporate number THREE times and all three times they hung up on me and the automated voice asks me how my talk was with the agent. I hadn’t even spoken to anyone. Then I tried calling this Mcdonald’s back to tell them and NOBODY WOULD PICK UP THE PHONE. I was waiting for 20 minutes before I gave up.
What a waste of $15 and 4000 points.
I spent twenty five minutes in the drive thru (after I had ordered) with about ten cars ahead of me. Apparently this location is redefining the meaning of fast food. No explanation, no apology, no acknowledgment at all. Impressive in the worst possible way.
This McDonald’s is conveniently located near Exit 15, making it an easy stop for travelers or locals looking for a quick meal. However, while the service from the crew is friendly and accommodating, the overall experience is disappointing due to poor food quality and slow service.
The biggest issue is the way the food is prepared. Burgers are often carelessly made, with barely any sauce, making them dry and unappetizing. The sundaes are poorly assembled, lacking the usual smooth and creamy texture. Even though McDonald’s serves simple food, you can tell that it’s made without much care or attention to detail. It’s frustrating to receive a meal that feels rushed and unappealing.
Another major downside is the wait time for mobile orders. Even after placing an order ahead of time, the pickup process is much longer than expected. What should be a quick and convenient stop often turns into a frustrating wait, defeating the purpose of using the mobile app.
The one saving grace is the crew, who are polite and do their best to provide good service. Unfortunately, their efforts are overshadowed by the food and long wait times.
Overall, this location is only worth visiting if you’re in a rush and need something close to the highway. If food quality and efficiency matter to you, it’s better to look elsewhere. Hopefully, management takes steps to improve. Rating: 2/5 but I only give 1 or 5 star.
