We stopped by here on our way home after a fun day at Legoland with our 5-year-old, and we were pleasantly surprised to see they had a playroom for kids! I haven’t seen one in a long time (back in the 90s most McDonalds had children’s play areas). It was clean and well maintained. There are tables with plenty of chairs for parents to dine right next to the slide, inside the playroom. I used the mobile McDonalds app to order our dinner with lots of discounts and selected Table Service. They brought over our meal within 5 minutes and the staff were all nice. Bathroom was clean too!

One item was correct on my order, French fries. Ordered a ¼ pounder with cheese, got a chicken sandwich.
Had to ask for soda cups, like the balance of our party got, ahead of the food coming to the table.
Bathroom was on par with McDonald’s standard, kinda clean.
If you have kids, this location has a large play area, but we just needed a quick lunch while passing through.
Highly unimpressed.

Why is it the employees of this location constantly park in the two closest and only spots next to the building it would seem those should be left for customers such as myself who have difficulty walkingwho may not necessarily be handicapped but could benefit from being closer to the building. As a business owner general practice would be to have the employees not do such a thing and make it more convenient for customers.

Never gave a McDonald’s 5 stars but I’d give them more if I could. Nice and clean place, employees wipe the table and pick up thing super clean. They bring you your food. Tons of drinks to choose from. TV and nice seating area also. Food was accurate, fresh and good. Best McDonald’s I’ve ever seen.

This review is based on three recent visits to the Chester, Ny restaurant. My daughter and I dined in. I ordered from the electronic board. I liked that I could my review options without the pressure of holding up the line. It also lists calories for each option, so that’s a big plus. All in all, it’s intuitive and convenient but only for younger, tech savvy users. Traditional “walk up and order from a person” is still available. The meal was actually brought to our table. That’s a nice touch and a big change from the the “bare bones” McDonald’s experience of my childhood. The employees are all polite and professional. They are the polar opposite of the stereotype of the checked out food service worker. The food itself…..well. It’s McDonald’s. It’s an American icon. You love it or you hate it. You don’t need a Google review for that! Otherwise, the Chester Ny franchise appears to be well run and clean. Just be careful in the parking lot! Super busy, and people are not always on the lookout for pedestrians.

No problem with the food or service, but the men’s room has a problem.
The men’s restroom was physically clean and orderly, but it absolutely reeked of raw sewage. The aroma made me dry heave and gag as I tried to relieve myself at the toilet.
There’s a serious problem with sewage gas re-entering the restroom, and it needs to be addressed.
