This is the worst experience my family has ever had at any business. My elderly uncle and aunt accidentally left a purse at this McDonald’s location. Inside were their Dominican passports, national ID cards, $750 USD, 20,000 Dominican pesos, a cellphone, and essential medication.
According to the Springfield Police Report (#25-14169-OF), an employee found the purse, handled it, and took it to the manager’s office. When we returned the next day to retrieve it, after hours of waiting inside the store, we were told by the manager over the phone that the purse had been “thrown out.” However, none of the valuable items were recovered, and the explanation we were given made no sense.
Based on the police investigation and the behavior of the staff, it is our strong belief that the items were stolen while in the possession of McDonald’s employees. The report even lists the contents as STOLEN, and the staff could not provide clear or consistent information about who handled the purse.
This incident caused enormous hardship. My uncle had a medical emergency from the stress and was taken to the hospital. We spent substantial time and money traveling to replace foreign passports and identity documents at the consulate in New York. Their entire trip was ruined.
The lack of accountability, responsibility, or compassion from the staff and management was shocking. No one offered help, updates, or honesty. For a business handling customers’ property — especially such sensitive documents — this level of negligence is unacceptable.
We have since filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General, and this matter is now being handled through corporate and legal channels.
I hope this location receives serious review!!!!!!!

McDonald’s on Liberty Street in the Springfield Plaza Well where do I start … ordered a McChicken & some soo the fries were hard & old looking ♀️ honestly they were quit disgusting when I looked at the chicken it was old the edges looked cooked but the middle was soggy looking the lettuce on the sandwich was brown & wilted and to top it off the mayonnaise that was spread on the sandwich was old it literally was hard in some areas long story short definitely not a happy customer didn’t upload a photo of the fries I gave them to the birds ♀️

Just went through the drive through and it was fast and simple. The girls at the window were polite and double checked my order before handing it to me. Greatly appreciated as sometimes I get the wrong drink at other locations. Keep up the good work!

This McDonald’s facility is pretty standard.
My big complaint is on the corporation, not the specific facility. I don’t ever recall seeing cheeseburgers so thin in my life.
I don’t get them that often and I don’t know when they got so small, but the pictures don’t do it justice. I swear these burgers were thinner than the pickles.
I will never buy a cheeseburger here again, nor would I even have a child eat them because they are that thin and don’t wish for anybody to be paying for, or consuming so much bread disguised as a sandwich.

Ordered out breakfast and all of the sandwiches were wrong which we now can’t eat and when I tried calling the location the phone number listed is no longer in service. We spent $27+. This is ridiculous.
