Best Jamaican spot in town! I eat here at least once or twice a week — sometimes even more. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. The customer service is great, and the lunch specials are a nice bonus. Highly recommend — 10/10!

We came here with a large group. We were visiting Tallahassee for work. The place was amazing. I had the jerk chicken They also have jerk turkey. I sampled it and it was out of this world. The patties are the real deal and Their soda is imported from Jamaica. There is also have banana pudding and other desserts. Fully recommend this spot. They have enough spaces to dine in, the booths can easily sit six. Great for take out too.

Go here for excellent Caribbean food. Oxtail, curry chicken, coco bread, rice, and cabbage were off the chain delicious! We tried the veggie and chicken patties but found them a little empty. The flavor was good, just light on the stuffing. The place is clean but the atmosphere is a little lacking. Service was OK but it’s a little slow. It could be attributed to the lunch time rush and short staff. The wait was well worth it. Portion sizes were generous. We were stuffed. We’ll be back for sure.

First off, the presentation, when I opened my plate of oxtail they were neatly stacked and looked like a to go plate should, neatly packaged up. After trying them out I almost doubled back for seconds! Glad I found this place for dinner, the rice and peas plus cabbage was seasoned to perfection and told end the night, a slice of red velvet cake that was super moist and good. Sorry I can’t provide the cake picture, it didn’t make it long enough, LOL

Today I tried G & G Caribbean Restaurant—and wow, what an experience!
I’d been on the hunt for a good Jamaican spot, and I’m so glad I decided to check this place out. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much—this is Tallahassee, after all—but let me tell you, I was blown away!
The flavors were out of this world. The brown stew chicken was absolute perfection—I could seriously drink the gravy, it was that good. And the jerk turkey? It left my entire family speechless. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
We are 100% going back. If you’re thinking about trying this place, take this as your sign: GO! You won’t regret it!

Food was amazing , I ordered the jerk chicken, rice & peas, cabbage, slice of red velvet cake w/nuts, & a lemonade. The jerk chicken was perfect , the first bite was a slight sweet still can taste all the well combined flavors then all the heat hits but it’s not a bad heat just a yummy burst of flavor! The rice was good, & cabbage had a tasty light flavor which went well with the spices from the jerk sauce. The red velvet cake , chefs kiss , the cake was moist but still fluffy, you can tell the icing is a homemade icing . Definitely recommend try G&G , nice atmosphere, a good place for all ages .

Overall it was okay, i got the jerk chicken rice and peas and Mac and cheese. The chicken was okay and the cabbage I ordered was good. Other than that I wasn’t a fan of the rest. The rice and peas were okay and the max and cheese was not good at all. The lemonade was ok. Tasted like country time mix with not enough sugar.

I got the brown stew chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage. The restaurant is about 7 minutes drive from downtown Tallahassee. Plenty of parking. It was a hot day for no AC but they had large fans.

I had a craving for good Jamaican food, particularly jerk chicken. Finally found this place after trying to find another. Very happy I went here. Very good jerk chicken, well seasoned and great portions. Couldn’t eat it all in one sitting and was anxious to get to the leftovers. Good price. Good food. I’ll go back.
