The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming as you enter the restaurant. They kindly explain anything on their menu that you may have questions of. I’ve been twice and the food is excellent. I had the catfish plate with a side of collard green gumbo…all I can say is (Lord Have Mercy) they know what they are doing! Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent! A little more pricey than what I thought it would be. However it’s worth the price. My wife and I bought a combo plate and shared it. We’ll definitely be returning. We got chicken wings, hand cut fries, cole slaw and fish. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection! We also got a side order of hush puppies. The fries deserve a special mention because for them to be hand cut fries they were lightly crispy outside which provided a little crunch, but the inside was soft and delicious.

The ease of ordering over the phone was refreshing. Upon entry, the customer service was impeccable! 3 employees were there and 3 employees greeted me. They were very friendly and professional. I drove the food 20 min back home and it was still fresh and delicious. The cheesecake was amazing as well. I had the Catfish Poboy and my husband had fish and shrimp combo.

SOUL FOOD ALERT!!! Chef McClellan has done it again. Best fried fish in town. Hand cut fries. Homemade sauces. It was $17 for more fried catfish and fries than I could eat. Wings are delicious and reasonably priced for large orders. Do yourself a favor and get on over here. Next to the rail trail and car wash on Union St.

OMG, I didn’t get out of the parking lot but for the fried green beans! They were tasty, not greasy and just dang delicious! When I finally got home I made myself a small plate of the fried flounder, fried chicken wing and fries. It was all good, appropriately seasoned and again, not greasy! I will definitely make this a weekly regular visit for dinner!!!

Run don’t walk! Chef Bill & his staff have done a terrific job. We got flounder, shrimp, and whiting and it was all amazing. Definitely have enough leftovers to feed another person. Fantastic food.
