This was my first time at McAlisters Deli. I was nervous about going in alone because I am temporarily disabled and am using a walker. Not only did an employee see me coming and opened the door for me, but after I ordered they were kind enough to help me find a close table and carried my drink to my table. I was asked if they could do anything else to make my lunch better but they had already done it. And my food was AMAZING!! I will definitely be back…with friends!!

The locations in MO are SO much better than this one. If I tried McAlister’s for the first time from this location I wouldn’t have loved it as much as I do now. Pretty dissatisfied with my meal today:/ Mac n cheese was runny and noodles were harder than soft, and my sandwich was oddly crunch bc the veggies were packed in there, lacking sauce/mayo making for a dry sandwich :/

Hello Topeka!!
Now McAlister has to best salads in my opinion. So since we are in Topeka we dropped by the one off Wanamaker.
Now I got the Swouthwest chicken salad w the Avocado. It was delicious with my strawberry lemonade.
My friend got the Pecanberry salad. Now the salad looked good. The only issue was some of the blueberries had expired. I’ll leave that to your interpretation.
The service was fast and friendly. Not five minutes after we sat down the food was out. So it was a good trip with a minor hiccup. ✌️

The food was good, but the cashier was not very friendly. First, my boyfriend and I walked up to the counter and she just stood there and did not greet us, I said hello to her and smiled. She didn’t ask us what we wanted to order. And when we did order she didn’t have the best attitude. Seemed like she did not want us to be there. Maybe she needs some more customer service training.

Very FIRST time here. Showed up at 830pm and they made it very apparent we were not welcome to stay and eat. Which is fine I get it, whatever. The line cooks in the back were upset that we were ordering, as if we were causing more work for them than the job description stated that gained them willful employment. Not a single person would greet us or look us in the eye. They were all very unhappy people which made this an extremely unenjoyable experience. No sooner than we walked out the door they followed and locked the store nine minutes early. Spent thirty bucks and this photo is one of the two meals I purchased. So in turn between this sandwich and chips is a 15 dollar meal. Extremely upset and after thanksgiving I will to no avail stop calling until I find the owner of this establishment.

It looks simple on the outside, but well decorated on the inside. The menu is a mix of sandwiches, soups and salads. The prices are similar to a Panera.
I ordered half a New Yorker (pastrami and corned beef) sandwich, a cup of broccoli cheese soup and Cinnabon stuffed cookies.
The bottom bread of the sandwich was absolutely soaked by the juices of the meat. The flavor was simple but tasty.
The broccoli cheese soup was pretty decent. The Cinnabon stuffed cookies were decadebt. Expensive ($3 for 2 cookies) but absolutely delicious.

This was our second time eating at this location. We ordered these with no broccoli and no rotel.
The first time they left the peppers off completely and this time they had 5 slivers of peppers on each potatoe, spinach sparse, and a thin slice of red onion.
We had already begun our journey elsewhere so we didn’t have time to go back to the Topeka store both times.
The pictures speak for themselves.
I’m hoping this is not normally how onion spinach and peppers are added on.
The Columbus, Mississippi location had a healthy amount of roasted peppers in its own juices along with a nice amount of spinach and red onion. As you can see from the pictures the peppers at the Topeka location are pretty dry and spaced out.

Derive was good. Food quality was not on par with my other McAllister’s experiences. The avocado on my sandwich was crunchy and my side of tomato and cucumber salad was all onions.
