The food was awesome! Everything was delicious, and the serving sizes were very adequate. This establishment has some of the sweetest employees. They are always so friendly and courteous. And the dining area is always neat and clean

Service was not as good as the first time I visited this deli restaurant. I asked the young man behind the counter for an Italian 6 inch sandwich with no peppers or onions and for some reason I ended up with 2 chibatas with mustard included. Who puts mustard on an Italian sandwich? To top it off the music was entirely too loud to enjoy the dining experience.

Ordered food delivered 2 times from these guys. Both times the order was incorrect. The first time I called to rectify the situation and received quite a bit of pushback and deferment that the issue was on doordash…this is not a doordash issue. I eventually got a refund but it was a bigger debacle than it needed to be. This second time the order was incorrect and I just won’t even bother calling, I’m just done with these guys. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

We have eaten at McAlister’s Deli in Grimes, but we happened to be in Dubuque so this was our first, and last, visit there. I ordered a spud but it turns out they didn’t have any, so I ordered my usual 4 cheese melt on gluten free bread. They are supposed to change their gloves when making gluten free sandwiches to prevent cross contamination so I was watching the workers in back closely and was disappointed to see he wasnt wearing any gloves at all but was making our sandwiches bare handed. But that was nothing compared to what happened next. He got some mayonnaise on his finger while making my sandwich a dedicated he stuck his finger in his mouth to lick it off and went right back to making the sandwich. I told the cashier what I saw and he asked if we wanted our money back and we said yes, so he gave us a refund. I have to give at least 1 star to be able to post. I will say the cashier was very nice and courteous.

First time hearing about McAlister’s. I have been missing out! The staff were incredible and answered all our questions. 3 Sammie’s, four drinks and a carrot cake and everything is sooooo good. I’m going to do the pick two next time so I can try more stuff at once. Will defo be coming back!!

Ordered a scheduled pick for 1:15 and came in at 1:10. The food was already ready but when I got it, it was already ice cold. I did not spend over 50 dollars for ice cold food.

I was thoroughly impressed which is hard to do these days at restaurants. Dude that made my big Ole chicken sandwich did a bang up job and the little gal running the register was cute with a great attitude. Keep up the good work.

Second time here in the last month for business in the area. Our installation crew of 5 guys. Yesterday I got the club, no sandwich artist. Meat not evenly spread and about 1 ounce of Turkey. Sloppy placement of tomatoes and little mayo. Bread seemed more stale than toasted.
I was told the menu board just changed and so it did not match what the crew texted me to order for them. Also OUT OF CHIPS, LEMONADE….
No real energy in the place.
