Me and my wife both ordered a pick 2. She loved the chili. I thought the chicken tortilla soup was amazing. Both the chili and soup were hot hot. Just like I like it. She had the roast beef sub with aju she thought it was ok. I finished it for her. She is gonna try something else next time. I got the spicy BBQ chicken sandwich. Not spicy but good flavor. I liked it. But think I will try something else next time too. The brownie that we added on before we left was amazing. The service was outstanding. The older gentleman at the counter was super friendly and helpful as it was our first time there and told us how to download the app and get free items. The manager walked by and asked how we were doing she said she was the front of the house manager. She was very friendly. I thought I took my tray somewhere and the younger gentleman running food took it for me and offered to get me a refill but the older gentleman beat him too it since the younger guy had his hands full. Working like a team. I love the team work and best of all the hospitality. I most definitely will be back. The only negative part I will add is there was a lot of empty tables that needed wiped down we ended up sitting at a high top because all the booths left open were dirty and same with some of the tables. But I still have a five star because they were busy at the time and for all I know maybe somebody called off. But overall a 5star

We had a great experience on Christmas Eve day morning. I didn’t get the guys name but that guy working the counter was a star! Super nice! Very helpful when bringing the food and checking up on us and getting drink refills. Better than a lot of restaurants. He also Recognized my military veteran status and helped me get that discount I didn’t know to ask for. He had the Christmas Spirit and the food was great too! Don’t know who was cooking but we got three meals and it all came out great. We were happy! Definitely would go back here. Wish I had tipped the guy at the counter better!!

I could be wrong, I thought spuds were mashed. I never had a spud that was made like a baked potato? A bacon spud with extra bacon barely had bacon on it so it was disappointing. Excellent chicken salad and carrot cake!

I’ve been wanting a good sandwich for a while, so I came here on 1/13/2026. Paid $16.99 for a spicy turkey melt that was over toasted to the point I could not even bite into it. I ordered this to go, so by time I see the sandwich I’m already at my destination. I had to drive back here! It was so burnt that I couldn’t even poke the top with my finger.
Is quality not checked before sending food out?
I paid with card so I’ll have to wait 24-48 hours for my refund.

The staff is tremendously friendly, at the Miller Lane in Dayton, Ohio, they always treat me like family, I only have one problem, on the mobile app we’re not able to tip anymore could we please bring the tip back on the mobile app. It would be greatly appreciated. So for friendly staff and great food this place is a must, driving through town or living in town come on in.

The service was fast and good. The guy in the picture who took my order genuinely cared had a welcoming attitude and happy to be there working. The menu has a good selection and have always enjoyed the baked spud options. It’s a more than decent size spud and fair portion. Food was hot and cleanly presented not just chucked on the plate.

Three strikes, you’re out. I am not sure what is so hard about ordering an extra cheese sauce dip, but THREE times I have ordered an extra cheese cup (and paid for it) and they failed to give it to me. I realize the veggie spud comes with a cup of cheese on the side, but I want 2 of those cups. However, the first 2 times… I received only one cup. Now, I realize I should have checked this before I left. The first time, I didn’t know until I got home. The second time, I didn’t think I needed to look because I was so specific when ordering the cheese cup. I wanted the one that came with the potato, but I also wanted another. The cashier seemed to understand. Silly me. He didn’t. So, last night, I tried again. I ordered the veggie spud. I ordered a cheese spud with chili. I then asked for an extra side of cheese dip. The cashier said, Is this for the veggie spud? I said, no. I want it for the cheese spud, BUT I want it on the side. She said, it comes on the side. Great. I see them bagging my order… and YAY… two cups. But, when I got home, WRONG. I got two cups of cheese (different sized cups) and no chili. Sigh. It wasn’t until we got to the middle of the bigger cup that we realized that they put the cheese dip on top of the chili….. WHY?????????????????? The extra cheese is for the veggie spud. It’s frustrating. Ridiculous.

I used to love this location but recently something has definitely changed. I placed a dine in order and the old man either named Dan or Sam rang it in as a take out order. I told him he rang it as to go and he tried to argue with me. Well I get my order to go and there’s SNOT on the bag from his hand. I could see the snot on his hand and on the bag. Absolutely disgusting. I just threw my order away at Speedway. I can’t trust the hygiene here and neither should you. Probably won’t be back for awhile until I no longersee him at the counter.

The staff was friendly, prompt and attentive. The meals were enough to feed everyone another meal for later. I ate half the potato (which was basically two of them together) and half the sandwich. They didn’t short me on any of the fixings and the sides were very tasty as well. The chili is thick and the service at dinner time was quick.

Love this comfortable McAlister’s. The employees were amazing. Even when they accidentally messed up my sandwich, they were awesome about it. Been here a lot, and never met a cross person here. The cashier’s are so helpful and friendly. They even walked around and checked on customers ❤️
