Went in for an early lunch to beat the crowd. While the girl who took our order was sweet, she definitely had no idea what she was doing. We waited half an hour for our food. Part of the order came out wrong, but was quickly remedied. While the food was delicious, I had to go with 4 stars due to finding bones in the Memphian sub (pics attached). For what it costs to eat here, service should be much quicker for it being a “fast-casual” restaurant.

I will NEVER go back to the Boardman location. My husband wanted to take our family there on 2/28/26. As soon as we walk in, the cook (an older, miserable man) said, “Oh look, another family! I don’t get to be with my family, I’m stuck here!”. We get to the cashier and he’s mocking us as we order (rude facial expressions, etc). Then as the cashier serves us our food at the table, he loudly tells her while laughing, “I wonder if they’ll like their food?!” Made me think that he tainted our food. Awful experience, and I feel this employee should no longer be employed there if he’s this miserable and rude to customers!!!!!!!

They went above and beyond to get my order right. I ordered one of the roast beef sandwiches. It was amazing. Replaced my meal just because they didn’t put my dipping sauce in the bag. Great customer service.

I recently placed an order through DoorDash for the Ultimate Nachos, but several of the listed ingredients were missing from my meal. When I contacted the restaurant, I was told that if I came in immediately, the order would be remade. I explained that I was not feeling well, which is why I ordered delivery, and that it was raining and windy outside.
Unfortunately, the manager declined to speak with me directly and instructed the employee to relay the message, “Yeah, that’s all we can do.” Considering my order totaled $50.99, I found this response dismissive and disappointing.
This experience reflects a lack of basic customer service and common courtesy. As a result, I will not be dining with this establishment again.

We had the 12 inch Memphian and we also dod the “pick 2” half of a southwest chicken sandwich and a southwest chicken baked potato. Delightful, fresh, delicious, seasoned well, unique… all of these words would be used for our lunch. Drove over an hour just to get lunch here. Wasn’t a disappointment at all.

Out of town coming from Pittsburgh. Very reasonably priced. Ordering was easy and the sandwiches were fresh. The bread used from the sandwiches were great. Wife and I enjoyed the Jalepeno Crunch sandwich. They give you a very nice size drink cup too. Also, they have an app that I recommend you download. They give you a free tea for signing up. So, skip the chain restaurants that are near at and try this place. We would go back if we pass through town again.

McAlister’s Deli is so delicious!! They graciously donated food to the Respiratory department at St. Elizabeth Boardman for Respiratory Care Week! The sandwiches were so fresh and wonderful! I know personally I will definitely continue to be a patron of this restaurant!! Thank you McAlister’s!!

We went for an early dinner (8-22-25) this evening and there were 3 people standing behind the counter, one at the register and two preparing food at the back of the house. They were sloppy looking, hair not tucked into their hats and did nothing but stare and laugh at us. I hear, one of two, say I’ll take the one on the right. They had the nerve to try to insult us when they looked like they haven’t seen a shower or toothbrush in quite some time.
To the owner – please get rid of these people they are going to ruin your business.

Stopped here while visiting family in Boardman. Never had McAllister’s deli before. Got the club sandwich and a cup of soup. Both were very good! Service was also excellent.
