I just want to say two things. After my brother’s funeral, I stopped in to get an ice tea for the long drive home. I don’t know why but the server gave me free tea. I didn’t tell her my situation before hand, maybe I just looked wiped out. That act of kindness was monumental to me. I told her the server afterwards and how that act of kindness was so meaningful. I’d like to thank the person who hired this server. The server had heart and depth.
The second thing is my mother lives at Clarendale right behind the restaurant. Macalisters is so handy to grab a sandwich and soup here and there. We can always count on it being good.

Food is always good but service is lacking. You can order ahead and still end up waiting for your food. They usually forget to put something in the bag so I always check when picking up here.

I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about the sandwiches here, so I decided to check it out. However, the reviews on how great the sandwiches are don’t mention how hard the place is to get into. It’s on a tiny parking lot on a busy street, requiring a hair-pin turn just to get on the property. I also recommend parking on the side because there isn’t enough room in front to park or turn around. That said, the interior is more of a sit-down place than another Subway. The staff was very friendly and cordial, but it does take longer to get your owner if you want a carry-out which is what I wanted. You can request some things to be left off if you want. The place is more deli than fast food with tooth picks holding the sandwich together. I had to go searching for them, finding at least eight of them. I didn’t see enough to impress me, but I’m sure a more sit-down crowd would appreciate it.

First time visit. Great food! They have a children’s menu, vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. Sandwiches, soup, nachos and huge baked potatoes. I choose the Spud Max and it was more than I could eat. The sandwiches looked delicious. I will definitely try one of those on my next trip. The staff is very friendly and will get you anything that you need. They have a drive thru and handicap parking.

Food came out cold. Nachos extremely cold. Cheese barely melted on the potato. Was not very busy in the restaurant. Nachos 90% chips with small amount of toppings only on the top layer. Disappointed compares to other Mcalisters I have visited l.

I had the McAlister’s Club. It was nice and fresh. The honey mustard was a little zesty. The potato salad was mustard with relish and eggs. The others in my party had The New Yorker, French Dip, Brocolli Cheddar Soup, and Chicken Cesar Wrap. According to their opinions: The New Yorker was good but the mac and cheese was lack luster. The French Dip was good but the soup wasn’t as good as Panera. The cesar dressing was creamy and the lettuce was crunchy but the dressing was over powering. All in all pretty tasty.
The staff was kind, clean, and efficient.
Not much social distancing but the tables were sanitized between customers.

Typical spacious dining room with some outdoor seating. I had the Italian sandwich with a Caesar salad and cup of chili. Would recommend the chili. Not very busy on a Friday evening.

We love McAlister’s. Their sweet tea is the best around. The spud max and Chipotle chicken spud is good. I love the Chipotle ranch. I wish they would bring back the turkey sandwich with the cranberry sauce on it.
