Tasha and Bernardine completely transformed my afternoon with their incredible energy and uplifting spirits… felt like I was a “regular.” As the saying goes, we may forget what a person has done, but we never forget how they made us feel. If McAlister’s goal is to create a family-like and welcoming atmosphere, please know it was absolutely achieved through these two.

Wow what a fantastic experience and reasonably priced! The food came out hot and quickly. I loved every bite of my New Yorker really couldn’t ask for a better quality this far south. The Mac n cheese was pretty good and the potato salad was off the charts. The staff always friendly and talkative

I ordered the half & half. A French dip & soup. The sandwich so little meat it didn’t even cover the bread. Like one slice of meat rolled with 1/4 piece of cheese. I’m accustomed to Jason’s Deli. Compared to them McAlister’s is an expensive imitation. Not worth the price. I would have been better off getting a cheeseburger at McDonald’s.

I have been to many locations before and always had great food and service. The Hinesville location however was simply awful. First of all, the employee taking orders was so slow. It took us 10 minutes to even place an order. Then when our food came out, more than 20 minutes later, it was not at all what we ordered. We ordered the pick 2, with half a chicken Caesar wrap and a cup of soup. What we were served was a quarter of a sandwich of some sort. Not even a full half, and definitely not a wrap. At this point, we did not have time to wait for another meal to be made as we had somewhere to be, so we asked the manager, Ryan for a refund. He began telling us “he kinda couldn’t really do that” and when questioning him why, he said he didn’t know how to and he’d have to call his general manager since he was “only the night manager.” So we said fine, please do that. After several minutes on the phone with his manager he came back to our table and told us there was some sort of problem with their system and it would be at least 30-45 minutes before we could get a refund. He then tells us, thank you for your patience, however I “didn’t appreciate the attitude,” There was absolutely no attitude given. We were very polite and just asked that he give the refund as we didn’t have time to wait for another meal. When we tried explaining to him that we did not have an attitude with him in a very calm and polite manner, he got extremely confrontational and asked our entire party of 6 to leave the store. Not only was this completely unprofessional, it was also completely uncalled for as there was no raising of voices, no attitude given and no reason for his defensive behavior towards us. This so called manager has no business treating customers this way when we were simply asking for a correction to their error. We will never, ever step foot in this location again.

My salad was clearly old based on the fact in the midst of eating it the chicken had a soggy texture and, the fact I asked for no bacon yet there was bacon on the bottom of my salad. The cook just put new lettuce on top of old. The night crew should take some deep thought into their work ethic because that’s unacceptable.

Great customer service, order was on time when I came to pick it up. This location does have delivery with DoorDash and Uber Eats
So please tip your driver for waiting your order is made fresh when the driver comes to pick it up. Support local workers.

So we ordered food tonight, November 1, 2025 and they forgot our eyes you and our cookie no big deal but we paid 100 bucks for this meal so we just called and said hey you know you forgot the stuff just do better we don’t want it. We just want to make you aware that this happened And they hung up on us. The manager hung up on us. I guess maybe if you do better you wouldn’t get these calls not ordering there again.

The food was good and the atmosphere was comfortable. The employees were nice, but there was really no sense of urgency or direction once the food was ordered. The food portions are large and the prices are reasonable. We are interested in trying more of the menu choices when we go back. They do give a military discount.

This by far the WORST location I’ve ever ordered from. A Caesar Wrap, Chili and Fruit landed me stale hard-as-rock tortilla with hardly anything inside, gelatinous sludgy lukewarm soup and old fruit that was very possibly even beginning to mold. Im unsure about the in-person experience at this location, but I would never order delivery/take-out from here again.
