First sign should have been me question if they were even open. There was no one in the dining area. Ordered a half spud and a half French dip. The spud was burnt and had cheese on it, which I asked for no cheese, only onions, bacon and sour cream. The French dip I also asked for no cheese and of course it also had cheese. The dip was very bland and the meat was very chewy. I waited inside for nearly 20 minutes for a to go order. Got it home (a 5 minute drive) and the food was cold. This place needs some serious work.

Elected to visit the restaurant on a Saturday night for dinner. Ample parking in front and the side of the building. The next door tenant is open for breakfast and lunch and one would assume that eases parking. ADA parking is available and the offer a drive through as well as an smart telephone application.
One walks to the rear of the restaurant and menu choices are on the wall plus some screens that rotate with specials.
Short wait for other customers to place their order.
Ordered s chicken salad, no tomatoes and learned that they were out of several dressing. Thus it was prepared and no dressing on the salad.
Flashing up on the menu board was a Hot Cuban Sandwich. Looked great.
Learned they don’t have it and corporate will not remove it from the ever changing menu board.
Elected to go with a large Memphian. Then learned they are out of regular bread and they only had Ciabatta bread.
Placed the order. After a short but long wait the food was delivered to the table.
Napkin holder had dirt on the top and missing wall trim was observed while the food was being prepared.
During the wait, a trip to the restroom was made and no paper towels to dry your hands and the restroom was in need of service.
The salad did come with tomatoes and again they were not requested.
First bite of the sandwich was warm. Balance was cold.
Prior to leaving, the person who took the order was cleaning the empty tables and was informed about the salad and issues with the sandwich.
Made the comment that there is no reason to return to the restaurant.
Elected to contact the corporate office and left a comment and thus far, no response.
And yes, I have received super service at the original location in Mississippi.

I have not had McAlister’s Deli in a long time…. This was a great experience. New location so the inside is fresh and modern, I had the veggie potato and the price and portion size were great, we also had the Savannah chopped salad, it was good in addition to the stand fare kids cheese pizza.

Staff is not friendly at all. I just watched a woman with a piercing under her lip dig in her ear with a gloves hand. She then went right back to preparing food. Yuck!

A very well established sandwich and potato “spud” stop. Very clean interior with very professional staff. The plate presentation was well above par of other sandwich shops. Felt very welcomed on my first visit at this Acworth location.
Update: 8+ Visits in, still the best sandwich shop around.

Ok so mac and cheese here was YT people Mac n Cheese so just know that. Secondly the wild berry tea has an un-natural sour aftertaste. The turkey sandwhich was good. The chili was good. The staff there were basic highschoolers seemed bored and didn’t wanna be there. Didn’t attended to us at all. The sweet tea is overpriced for the taste. Go to McDonalds next door did the taste test and we are convinced they just steal their tea and sell it for higher.

I ordered a baked potato with just sour cream and was delivered a shriveled dried out potato. Please do not serve the potatoes that have been sitting in the warmer all day. May not return to your establishment.

I had the Ruben sandwich. It was prepared quickly as it was at my table within minutes. The service is great and friendly. The restrooms are super clean and the men’s room even has a baby changing station. The bathrooms are single occupancy so it makes a great place for police to stop and use the restroom. There is outside seating but no umbrellas. Overall it’s a great place to get some food and socialize with friends.

Clean, spacious dining room. Friendly staff. The potato salad is so close to homemade, in a pinch I could definitely pull it off. Make sure you try anything with the orange cranberry sauce! It’s delicious!
