Passing through the area, had always wondered about the place and was looking for lunch so figured i’d try it.
I love reubens and pastrami sandwiches, so when i saw the new yorker i thought i might as well try it. The posters on the wall showed sandwiches stacked high with meat. I was STOKED.
It appeared to be one person working, very friendly suggested the beans and rice, and i went off to my car with my bag. $20.00 for the combo, maybe it was 22, i dont remember.
I can tell you if you put this sandwich in an arbys bag i wouldn’t have been able to tell them apart, besides having saved $10 because that is the price of the combo at arbys.
The beans were good, but had no rice. The sandwich was good as well. But I would’ve felt better paying $12 for what this was.

First time being here. Easy to access location, free parking, food was very good and a fair amount for the price. Counter staff was friendly and prompt. After that I was disappointed- NOT in crew but in management, restaurant is SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED so restaurant was not being clean, tables were not being bussed, Yet there is no way for customers help out. So during a rush (like when I came) very limited seating and it took forever to get our food.
HIRE MORE people and invested in trash receptacles so customer can throw their trash away.

Had the best experience here today. The cashier was super friendly, which is so rare. The manager was also very nice. The food was amazing!! I was blown away by how great everything was from start to finish. It’s also rare to have spotless high chairs, but this place has that as well.

Decent food, but not great. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich which was okay, but the chicken was overcooked and the croissant was hard and crumbly. My wife had a baked potato with butter and sour cream which was very good (and it was huge).

I’ve always been impressed with how delicious the sandwiches are from here, and the service is great, but they outdid themselves tonight. I had ordered takeout via the app and picked up the food at the window. While they got most of the order correct, they got part of one sandwich incorrect. When I called to inform them of what happened, they not only freely offered to make things right, but went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied. They CLEARLY care about their customers, and I’d recommend this McAlister’s to anyone IN A HEARTBEAT!!!

Staff was friendly. Food wasn’t too bad. But there’s something weird going on with the pricing. I got a 1/2 sub and soup which it looked like would be 7.99 and a small drink and I left a tip. I didn’t really look at the price of the register but saw on my bank statement that my meal was $16.55. (*edit- I looked it up and they upcharge everything and the small soda is almost $4.) the pricing is intended to be misleading and I will not be returning.

Walked in and turned around and walked right back out. There was a guy and a girl standing at a table in the corner. They walked over to take our order and the guy had dreads all in his face couldn’t even see his face. Girl walked to back to window waiting on order. Never washed hand or anything. He was slinging his dreads everywhere. Just looked plain nasty. Not gonna spend my money with people like that. Would have left a 0 stars but wasn’t an option. Really nice place for lunch!! Staff was super nice and it was very clean even though it was pretty busy. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Convenient to get to and good parking available, also high chairs and childrens menu if you’ve got your kids with you.
