About us Mazzios Italian Eatery It was 1961. Alan Shepard was the USA’s first man in space. Dion’s “Runaround Sue” topped the music charts. Volkswagen’s funny little car invaded America in droves. And a young school teacher opened a small, one-man pizza restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was to be the birthplace of the growing, dynamic Mazzio’s LLC of today. That original restaurant—named The Pizza Parlor—delighted many Tulsans with the very first pizza they ever ate. The school teacher was Ken Selby, who ran his new business virtually alone and after a full day of teaching.

Pulled in, drove passed the drive through window, because no lights were on outside or inside the pick up area, also another person was parked in the drive. Girl was so confused at the window, im still not sure she knows what happened…she gave us back more change than she was supposed to and was going to get more. Our calzone was 10 minutes longer than expected because of an oven not working. So hard we could hardly eat it. It was hot and fresh though….everyone in there was confused about everything. Was a mess.

I am not please with this place. If I could give it no stars I would. We got a taco pizza with no refried beans the only thing good was the salad bar. I will never eat here again. TERRIBLE!!!!!! I asked the waitress is this pizza suppose to have refried beans on it she says no I don’t think so I said I will look at the menu and yes it does. Can’t even serve us right no sauce that we asked for. What a HORRIBLE PLACE!!! The waitress couldn’t even give us our food right she asked someone else if the wings were theirs. ♀️ ♀️

The girl at the front counter was very friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the service ended. I came in at 12, and the pizza on the buffet wasn’t fresh. It’s 12:40 now, and they have not brought anything fresh out. They have two guys in the kitchen who are more interested in their phones and talking to each other than actually preparing pizza. A group of guys (6) have been eating the salad bar waiting on pizza. They asked when it would be coming out, I couldn’t her what the girl said, but they all got up and left.
FYI, after the guys left, it looked like they started making pizza in the back.

After traveling for 8+ hours we decided to order togo for dinner. It was delicious, hot and fresh! However, the service was severely lacking – unkind and unpleasant in tone and service (and they forgot the ranch). We understand it was late but they were short and snappy. The food is good only about 50% of the time and the workers are either leaning against the counter or huddled in little groups talking, every time I pull up to the window or go in to the restaurant, never fails. I used to tip at least $2 no matter what, on online orders. This “business” is the reason why I don’t plan to do that anymore. They can stand and talk, but my order is never even boxed and ready when I arrive, and they have to take the time to scramble and finish putting it in boxes, etc.. I guess I need to just remember how good Mazzio’s used to be and pick a new pizza place to enjoy from now on. Thanks for the good years, good luck on the bad years.

It’s always clean and the food is delicious. I was especially impressed with the accommodation that was made for our boys basketball team to have a team dinner. Brittney took my order on Friday over the phone and made sure that everything was ready to go when we got there Saturday. We are so lucky to have them in Woodward.
