Berkshire Wing Sheriff Report: Mazzeo’s Deli
The Sheriff had to ride into Mazzeo’s after hearing about the $1-a-wing deal — and let me tell you, I respect any place that lets you order 2 wings… or 200 without judgment.
First thing to know: these wings are sold cold by design. You bring ’em home, throw them in the oven or air fryer, and finish the job yourself. The texture was already promising, which tells me fresh out of the fryer these birds would fly straight to an 8.9.
Reheated? Good, not legendary — but don’t get it twisted… I’d still badge up and order 100 on a Sunday without thinking twice.

For the price of the GF sandwich the filling is absolutely pitiful. It had 4 slices of turkey in the entire 12” sandwich and I had to add my own lettuce when I got home since there was 3 small pieces on the entire sandwich. Whoever made this sandwich needs to be retrained!

I stopped by Mazzeo’s Deli and ordered the Donnie Salami—absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and the service was impressively quick. The deli is clean and well-kept, and the small handwritten note on my sub was such a thoughtful touch. Little details like that really show how much they care. Highly recommend!

My husband and I are local and went in for lunch. The man behind the counter provided great customer service. We got the crispy chicken Caesar sandwich and the sausage and pepper sandwich, both were great. Price is reasonable for a high quality deli, we will be back for sure

It’s nice to have this new quality deli in the area. The sandwiches are delicious, very fresh, and the bread is very good. It’s comparable to a very good Italian deli you’ll find in the Bronx or Brooklyn. Staff is friendly and welcoming. They offer a convenient online ordering and you can schedule a specific time to pickup your order. I recommend checking them out.

Freshly opened and already firing on all cylinders. The Donnie Salami sandwich is a knockout, thinly sliced salami and roast turkey layered with American cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, pepperoncini peppers on a homemade crackly seeded roll that holds every juicy bite. Insanely good.
The pizza is thin crust perfection blistered edges, bubbly cheese. The eggplant parm is a revelation: hand-breaded slices, fried crisp, stacked with house marinara and molten mozzarella, then baked till the top is golden and caramelized. Just like at their restaurant. Same love goes into the chicken parm pounded cutlets, lightly breaded, tender inside, smothered in that rich red Mazzeos sauce and stretchy cheese. Both are available as sandwiches or dinner-ready trays.
Prepared foods shine: eggplant and chicken parm by the pound, garlicky spinach, roasted peppers, fresh pasta salads. Everything’s made in-house, priced right, and served with a smile in a sparkling new space. Pittsfield/Lenox just got its new go to. Welcome, Mazzeo’s!

Amazing food. Just the thing we needed. So many choices, so much delicious food.
Favorites: The subs, meatballs, arancini, polenta, pizza, desserts, and the flowers.
It’s hard to put a price on this place as we’ve gone 6 times and always managed to spend $100-150 but you can freeze the meatballs and such.
I’d say it’s probably $20-30 a person if you get a sub and a drink.

We ordered the classic Italian and crispy chicken Caesar sandwiches, the broccoli salad, broccoli rabe, black and white cookies plus a couple cannoli and a few cookies from the market. Everything was so good it was bonkers. The sandwiches were stuffed with toppings and weighed as much as a small kid. Everything was a great value for the money and the staff was beyond delightful. Can’t wait to go back!

I loved the new deli. I stopped by this week just to see what they had and pick up something for dinner. I wanted to try everything but decided on the lasagna. A piece of lasagna is 1 lb, so what I got was 2 meals for me. And very good. Can’t wait to stop by again to pick up a sandwich, or another dinner – or some cheese and italian cold cuts.
