From the moment we walked in, the experience at Mezra was warm, welcoming, and memorable. Dilara was amazing she greeted us with a smile, a warm welcome got us seated right away, and went above and beyond by letting us sample their freshly squeezed juices before ordering. The mint lemonade, raspberry lemonade, and melon/pineapple juice were all incredibly fresh and vibrant, and being able to taste each one made the experience even better. We ended up ordering the mint lemonade, which was outstanding.

The complimentary tea was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Definitely, small details like this really elevate the experience.

You have to order and pay via the self ordering system. For starters, we ordered the Mazra Platter (comes with Falafel as well), a true standout, featuring hummus, baba ganoush, tatziki, beet hummus, and more where everything was fresh, creamy, and beautifully prepared.

We got ourselves the Fattoush Salad (with chicken added) fresh, crunchy, and perfectly balanced followed by the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, juicy, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying.

The baklava trio definitely was a much needed from the menu to close out our dinner on a sweet note.

“Amazing, awesome, and finger-licking good” are some words that come to mind when i have to describe the food at Mazra. Every dish tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care.

Between the exceptional hospitality, fresh juices, complimentary tea, and outstanding food, Mazra easily stands out as a place worth going out of your way for.

I’d be remiss not to say that this is an absolute must-stop if you’re traveling north or south on Highway 101.

I absolutely loved the chicken shawarma plate; the meat was perfectly seasoned and had those crispy, caramelized edges from the spit that I always look for. I paired it with the grilled veggie bowl, which was surprisingly hearty and full of that signature mesquite char that makes Mazra’s grill work so distinct. To round out the meal, I had to try the Halloomi rolls—they are these incredibly crispy, golden-brown pastry rolls stuffed with savory fillings that provide the perfect crunch alongside the softer dips.
To wash it all down, I grabbed the banana date shake, and it was easily the highlight of the meal for me. It’s thick, naturally sweet from the dates, and doesn’t feel as heavy or artificial as a standard milkshake. Everything I ordered felt fresh and high-quality, though the portions were so generous that I ended up taking half of the shawarma home. If you’re going for the first time, that shake is a non-negotiable—it’s the perfect cooling balance to the spicy, smoky flavors of the grill.

Flavor, flavor, flavor! Mazra’s falafel is one of the best I’ve had—closest to being in Palestine. The cauliflower dish was amazing with that sauce, the arayes were crispy outside and juicy inside, and even the baba ghanoush was next-level (smoky eggplant + perfect tahini). We ordered through the app and the staff still made it feel welcoming and special. Thank you Mazra!

Delicious. Wonderful staff. Beautiful place. Their vegan plate was full with so many beautiful options and dips. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food they give you. The plates that my family had were delicious as well. Don’t miss out on this gem!

One of the best Mediterranean restaurant in the Bay area. Always a favorite. This time I tried Lamb and mushroom kebab. The oyster mushroom kebab isn’t really a kebab but grilled mushroom, it tastes like meat. Lamb was cooked to perfection. The beetroot hummus was drenched in a good quality olive oil. The green sauce was the star that made every bite of food felt like a flavor bomb.

Mazar is a fantastic find in Redwood City! The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality. It’s a tech-forward experience where you order via your phone, but the staff is still incredibly attentive and provides great service. Highly recommend for a tasty, efficient meal.

Love this place! The food is amazing, the portions are huge and the atmosphere is fantastic! The stuff is also super friendly. It does gets busy after 6pm and they don’t except reservations so we usually avoid peak times.

The decor and atmosphere is beyond beautiful along with the presentation 5/5 along with friendly waitresses who came by in the beginning but nobody followed up toward the end since it was self service menu online.

The Shawrma sandwich was 4/5
However the rice plate with kabobs was 3/5, meat was decent but probably the worst rice I have tried at any restaurant. I just couldn’t eat, tasted stale something like you would taste from the previous day, I asked the server to get us another rice as it didn’t taste good as it seems like an old patch. He went back there and got me the same rice but warmer. I mean how bad can you mess up the rice. I would rather been told we don’t have any rice right now but we have a salad as alternative I would have took that than dealing with rice that I paid for and can’t eat.
I also go 2 sides of fries, they were good but double fries killed the enjoyment of the potatoes. Either they double fry them or get them frozen pre fried which didn’t match the quality and standards this restaurant has been given.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t pay for the premium prices and lower quality again. I’ll probably get the chicken shawarma but that’s about it.

Excellent high quality food. Amazing flavors and all the meat is grilled on mesquite which was a great touch. Service was excellent and the interior was very clean and well decorated. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Delicious as always! The San Bruno location was still closed, so we stopped here on our way to Ikea. The Branzino and Kofte kebab did not disappoint. Its a lovely location, would go here more if it wasn’t such a drive for us.
