Our Food is made out of flavors and traditions, from a genuine passion and admiration to Mexican cuisine and culture. But, The Pacific Northwest Mexican Food is also a name, a dream and realization since 1968. It’s a vivid story concocted by a man: Don Andrés Cárdenas. As our founder, he was also the creator of our first specialties, including some of the most important dishes which are well known in the State and through the Mazatlan chain. The essence of our cuisine is based on the authenticity and quality of our ingredients, a celebration of age long techniques and traditions, and the passion and respect for the Mexican culture.

Such a Vibe to Dine here!!! I love the Ambiance and the flavor here is A1 every time. Their menu is consistently and consistently good!!! If you need to save some $$$ head to Groupon as well and fred the whole family for DEALS HERE or grab a lunch! Either way youll be happy with this quick stop with the full restaurant feel! My family enjoyed a very delicious meal at this Mexican restaurant. I had the Enchilada, Tostada and Taco Combination which was not only very delicious, the serving was very generous. Our server was very attentive and the deep fried ice cream was yummy. There was a group of five of us and the wait time was reasonable. I recommend this restaurant for any size group.

My wife, daughter, and I visited Mazatlan yesterday after attending a religious event, so we were dressed formally. The food was excellent — truly flavorful and well prepared. That’s the reason we will return.
However, the service was concerning.
Our waiter (Romeolo) behaved in a way that felt unnecessarily intrusive and physically careless. He stepped on my shoe twice and left his foot there longer than seemed accidental. There were also several moments of passive-aggressive behavior from staff that made the atmosphere uncomfortable.
An older staff member repeatedly asked if I was okay, while the overall treatment from the team suggested otherwise. I chose not to react because I value composure and respect, especially in front of my family.
I’m not making accusations — I’m simply stating how the experience felt. In today’s world, hospitality should be consistent and professional with all families.
The food is outstanding. I hope management addresses the service concerns so the experience matches the quality of the cuisine.
We will be back and hope to see improvement.

Mazatlan is definitely on the spendy side, but usually it feels worth it because the portions are large and the food is really good. Most of the time I can easily share a meal with at least one other person and feel completely satisfied. You can order a few dishes and split them to feed a small family, or take home plenty of leftovers for another meal, which I appreciate.
This visit started off rough. It took a very long time for anyone to greet us, and unfortunately that also happened the last time we came. We almost left because our previous experience started the same way and ended up being very disappointing overall. I am not sure if they were understaffed or just having an off night, but the delay was noticeable.
With my social anxiety, waiting without acknowledgment makes the experience feel almost unbearable. Even a quick hello or reassurance that someone will be with us shortly would have helped a lot.
That said, once we were finally helped, the food and overall service were decent. I am glad we stayed because I was really craving the Mazatlan Mexican pizza, and it did not disappoint.
We are used to much better experiences here, which is why I cannot rate it higher this time. Still, we will likely come back for our favorites and hope the next visit feels more like the great experiences we have had in the past.

Our server was so friendly and kind, as was the manager who helped us. We have been here a few times. After we inhaled our food as a family of 5, my husband stopped in his tracks and asked me, what is this. I examined and at first thought it was possibly a chicken vein cooked (they turn dark maroon sort of) but upon further inspection, it was a worm, likely a maggot, possibly a meal worm, it went from large to small (head to tail) and had a smooth bottoms, ridged back. We told the waiter, manager came, offered another to go meal, we explained the food tasted good and we didn’t want any problems, just were slightly concerned with what we consumed. Honestly, I just hope we don’t get sick and banked on the fact it looked cooked and had no “guts” after I did an autopsy at our table. I’ve cooked so much chicken and prepared meat, I’ve never seen fat, bones or even skin that could come close to looking like this and have exhausted all options, it’s straight up a worm!! Warning, pictures are gross. Again, waiter and manager were nice. Gave us to go food that we definitely can’t consume, they tried.

Thought we’d try this place for brunch again before we’d bring a big group in. Third time and disappointed each time. There from about 12:30pm-1:30pm this time. Brunch last til 3pm. Almost everything EMPTY and no one making omelets. Hardly refilled anything the whole time we were there. No fruits, no fresh pie, no beef chunks, no bacon, no sausages, scrambled eggs almost empty, no fresh donuts to name some. Whoever’s in charge of the buffet is terrible at it it. Don’t recommend this place for brunch and won’t be back.

Absolutely 5 stars for Mazatlan Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm, friendly service and an inviting atmosphere. The meal started off perfectly with their chips and salsa—crispy, fresh chips paired with salsa that had just the right kick and depth of flavor. It was seriously some of the best I’ve ever had and set the tone for a great dining experience.
Everything we ordered was delicious, but the highlight of my visit was definitely the dessert. I ended the meal with the lava cake and ice cream, and it was out of this world. The lava cake was rich, warm, and perfectly gooey in the center. Paired with the cool, creamy vanilla ice cream, it created the ultimate indulgent treat. Each bite was heavenly—rich, chocolatey, and so satisfying.

We hosted our daughter’s 30th Birthday with 60 guests and it was fabulous!! The banquet facility is huge! We had our own bar and bartender (2 at times). The food was really good and they made us feel so special!! If you’re in need of a large space for a gathering, I highly recommend you give this place a go!!
