Schuh was very impressive & delicious! Our meals were well made, rich, and delicious! The waiters & staff were kind, prompt and helpful. I would eat here for every meal the rest of our trip! The atmosphere was relaxing, clean and enjoyable. We loved our visit! We got the salmon, the sausage with onion sauce rösti. For dessert I got the raspberry lemon cake!

Visited this small cafè – restaurant in the evening after a big walk in Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken for something sweet. Beautiful high quality hot chocolate, simple and delicious. The cherry pie was perfectly balanced, simple but with complicated flavour at the same time. You could feel the high quality butter and cherries in it. If I lived there I would totally pay a visit every now and then.

I came here for a catered party. Quality of food was not bad, but the portions were tiny. The entire “dinner” consisted of a tiny salad, a small traditional Swiss pastry with meat and mushrooms and a small dessert. Otherwise, nice staff and a decent interior.

So, they’re serving Swiss and Thai dishes. Gotta say, the rosti was my jam, and the cheese fondue was also amazing. But the Thai food didn’t hit the spot. The place was comfy and had a plenty of space.

Love the food here. Cheese fondue is nice and the other food is good as well. Just abit sad as the bread they gave us separate other from the fondue set were cold and hard. Kind of wasted the bread. I would say is a good dining experience.

We went her recently to eat dinner, we had put our mind on eating a swiss fondue after a long day of travel. The restaurant is a bit hidden away from the main street.
It has a terrace and a couple of different rooms inside. We were asked to sit in the entrance area, rather than in the main restaurant, which we found out afterwards was occupied by a group.
While aonther table was occupied near to us, we did not find this a cosy welcoming environment equivant to a grand cafe.
As to the fondue, we asked to be served moite moite fondue, but the waitress did not know what this was and could neither explain clearly the composition of the cheeses in the fondue that was on the menu. As there was no other choice, we went ahead and ordered their house made fondue.
Tastewise this was a rather bland fondue, not great, although, after we added some salt, it became better. The fondue is served with bread, potatoes as well as some cornichons and onions
Originally we were offered brown bread, but this was changed for white bread without a problem.
While we were happy to have eaten some dinner, we were expecting more from this grand cafe which has such a long history.

We enjoyed late lunch with pleasant dishes and view. The ciabatta sandwich (buffalo mozzarella + tomato) was right crispy and fresh delicious. I liked it not salty! The berry kokos cake was tasty, fresh, & not too sweet — perfect. The service was friendly and fast. Outdoor seats were nice for watching flying paragliders’ landing.

4. Pasta with shrimp and tomato sauce
5. Classic cheese fondue served with bread, boiled potatoes, and pickles
6. Local pork sausage with onion sauce and Rosti potatoes
Personally, I would recommend dishes (1), (4), and (6). It was my first time trying the traditional cheese fondue (5). I’m not used to the smell and flavor of this dish.

The place is cozy, especially the outdoor area. You can have your food while enjoying the stunning view of Interlaken. My favourite was the hot chocolate and vanilla creme dessert. The staff was helpful and inform me which desserts contain alcohol. Definitely will come back the next time I visit Interlaken.
