Found this place by googling “Lumpia near me.” I was pleasantly surprised! The customer service was top notch and made me feel welcomed and warm. They even allowed me to try menu items as it was my first time there! I ended up buying lumpia and a full meal with chicken and rice! The food was delicious! I love it so much I sent my friends over there that very same day! They ordered multiple items and loved each of them! I’ll definitely be back! This is my new fav spot! Try them! You won’t regret it! It’s def a mom and pop spot which I believe adds to the authenticity! 10/10!!!!

The food was terrific, overall better than the VB offerings. The big difference is that since they make poke, they serve Japanese/Korean rice for everything.
It was so fine. The rice soaks up the sauce better than Jasmine rice. The longanisa was nice as well, not microwaved as in Glenda’s Bulalohan (Glendas has great sizzling study, though). The longanisa was garlicky, with those guys of paprika that you love.
Great place, you want to go. Go now.

The most delicious poke we’ve ever had and we travel a lot. Always fresh, always friendly. Filipino food options are also delicious. We go out of our way to eat here if we are anywhere close. Be sure to note their open days and hours before going.

Very friendly owners. I met Jan he was very cordial smh welcoming. I’ve been out here for 20yrs and it was my first time eating philipino food! The pork stew was thee best! It’s missing from my plate but the pieces of pork were big along with sliced carrots. He put lumpia and sweet and sour sauce in it. I’ve heard a lot of lumpia, not sure if it’s spelled right.

Quick and easy fare. Feels like a family owned establishment when you walk in.
About the meal…I can’t recall the names of the dishes, but every single one was flavorful and prepared perfectly. The meat was so tender, wow.
It’s in the perfect location too. You can grab a bite then drive 5-10 minutes to the shore for a relaxing lunch.
10 out of 10 I highly recommend

Their food is phenomenal. The chicken curry is a Must try, super flavorful. The curry sauce pairs very well with the rice. The rice itself is just basic white rice but adding the flavors from the meats makes it way better. The wings are good as well. They’re nice and fried and have like a sweet Thai chili sauce coating. I’ve only had pancit like twice so not to sure what to expect but this one was good as well. Not dry or mushy. I felt like it needed a bit more flavor though, maybe some spice.

I love this place. It’s close to the naval station gate 4. I get it when I want a treat for lunch. Poke bowl is awesome.

I just want to take a moment to talk about this fantastic mom & pop shop. They just opened in October and totally deserved recognition. I hope that this place blows up with business. Their food surpasses my expectations and their friendliness goes along with it. The atmosphere is so welcoming and you can taste the love in their food. I LOVE poke and can’t seem to find it in many places. The owner sliced fresh tuna for me before serving me. The lumpia is where it’s at too(it didn’t even make it home)! I cannot express enough how amazing this is so you just need to try it. It is totally worth the drive.

Very nice people and delicious food. Poke & veggies were fresh with fantastic sauce combos. They had sold out of many items by the time we got there (around 1:30 PM) but everything we did try was tasty (lumpia, pancit, sausage). Great experience, highly recommend.

Okay so I was expecting a better appointed place but I guess the regulars don’t mind the not so updated walls, seats, decor. I had wanted to order poke bowl since other reviews gave great reviews and posted really enticing photos. But maybe it was an off day or time (around 2pm on a Friday) the line of ingredients didn’t look too appealing or lacked the amount to even make a poke bowl.
So I ditched the poke bowl plan and went with the turo turo (buffet food line up). Since it was my first time, I asked if I can get pancit (noodles) instead of white of brown rice options that came with the 1, 2 or 3 entree meals. They said it would be an additional $3. I guess I am a little surprised when pancit is a staple just like rice AND other places give you that option without extra charge – like Felxxx Oriental Restaurant or Ihxw ihxx in Lynnhaven or even Gloxx Bakery along Kempsville Road.
Then the service: not sure if sm experiencing the unfortunate new Asian customer who speaks Tagalog or not but I felt like I was rushed, when I asked what the entree was, it felt like I was being a pain / not my fault that there were entrees where they used ingredients that were not the original
Recipe!!
I went home with my to go order, quite frankly I haven’t tasted it yet. But I think I’ve experienced enough that I don’t think even if their food is good, they’d redeem themselves enough to warrant me going back; especially in this day and age where commerce depends so
Much on word of mouth, consistency and reliability – customer service!
