My husband and I are new to the area and we were on the hunt for our local breakfast spot. We stopped by on a Sunday around noon and had such a wonderful experience. The staff is all so very friendly! Our food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We both absolutely loved the pancakes. Also the owner was the absolute nicest! We were interested in buying a slice of pie which she very generously gave us for free as they were closing soon. I cannot state enough how gosh darn delicious it was. We will definitely be coming back and plan to become regulars!

Small diner that has excellent service, good food and friendly staff. Jenny made us feel very welcome. The prices are affordable. If you’re in north Peoria, take a pretty drive to Dunlap and enjoy a great breakfast or lunch. We are coming back for the walleye!

We showed up unannounced today with about 15+ people on a bike ride and the staff welcomed us with open arms and a smile. When they asked if it would be separate checks or one, I sheepishly said “separate” -knowing what a headache that is-and they said “perfect! No problem-so happy you all came into today” -great food, great service-great price-what more could you ask for?

Used to LOVE this place back in the day on Pioneer Park… Just learned it’s a thing again! Great food, best staff ever, and actually affordable (unlike every $40 breakfast joint in Peoria)… Have been a half dozen times or so now and it’s been every time!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The menu has the perfect amount of items so you don’t get overwhelmed but there’s a good variety. Everything is very inexpensive so you could really get away with spending under $10 per person including coffee or a beverage. This isn’t super fancy or over-the-top, this is just GOOD, SOLID, and delicious food. The wait staff is supreme (shout out to Jenny) and it comes quickly as well. I long to be the person who comes in and says “I’ll have the usual.”

The Mayflower staff was extremely accommodating during our recent visit!! We had a large group of cyclists stopping for a Sunday breakfast and the team did not hesitate to help us out as we packed in taking up 3/4 of the allotted space. The team was prompt, friendly, and had coffee coming out of our ears—it was great! All our food came out at the same time and was delicious! Major kudos to this team and I can’t wait to return again.
