Always a great place to dine. The service is top tier as well as the food! I had the Mexican skillet this time around. So delicious They definitely don’t skimp on the portions.

What a blast from the past! Huge portions, ultra fast service. This is an old-school diner/cafe.

Fantastic for a lunch on shift if you work locally. Very popular with the blue hair crowd, *not **that** blue hair crowd.

It looks like they have a lot of regular patrons who love it.

It came highly recommended from co workers, and they were right! Huge portions, fast, attentive service.

It’s badib diner/cafe/Americana fare done right.

The cuppa soup was practically a meal by itself.

Come hungry or take a doggy bag!

Good food & nice place.

Was expecting more Mayberry theme so that was a disappointment.

But would eat here again.

I’ll be frank. I was hesitant when I went in because I love good food. The service was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. The breakfast was beyond perfect. The waiting time after ordering was short; they were very focused on their work. I didn’t expect such excellent service and food in such a small village. All I can say is, it was fantastic. I wish there was a place like this in Atlanta. Congratulations!

Not being from the area we wanted a decent place to enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed to leave. The staff is very pleasant as soon as you walk in. The prices of food was very filling and not as expensive as would have expected for the portion sizes. One thing is for sure, if you’re looking for a great friendly atmosphere for breakfast and lunch that will fill you and not break the bank, Mayberry Cafe is the place.

Family oriented cafe! This has been our go-to weekend morning breakfast. We call it in and pick up. They finish the food quickly and the amount of food you get for the price is unbelievable! It is absolutely delicious and enough for two meals (unless you’re really really hungry ) I always get a skillet, never disappoints!!!

Nice place to have a quick Sunday breakfast. The food came out very quick and was hot and fresh. Good portions and prices. I have enjoyed the creamy chicken and rice soup since I was a kid so of course had to grab some to go!

Our favorite breakfast place when we are in town. The service is impeccable! You barely sit and they are pouring your coffee and getting any other drinks. They take your order quickly and the food comes to your table quickly too. Then, the second you put your fork down, someone is there taking your plate. We’ve never had service like this place, and we travel all over the country. When in town we are always good for a few visits for breakfast! Breakfast Burrito is a notable favorite, large portion. Good enough for 2 meals for me and covered in their delicious gravy!

Simply put, this 80s time-capsule is sad. Maybe I’m spoiled by the variety of food and local restaurants in my hometown. Indiana locals seem to like this oasis in the desert.

I ordered scrambled eggs, French toast, and bacon. I took one bite of the musty eggs, and did not take a second. The bacon was ok but that also carried a hint of mustiness. The French toast was fine. I’m not sure if their griddle top hasn’t been cleaned since the place opened but surely the flavor doesn’t need to match the decor.

My guy ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. The food came out alarmingly fast for a steak. Disappointment fell across his face when he saw a heavily breaded steak, with thick, congealed gravy slopped on top. Cutting in, the steak was grey. Clearly frozen and tossed into the frier to cook. He didn’t notice the mustiness flavor I did and ate the lightly warmed hash browns on his place.

Plates still full, I asked for the check. Our sweet waitress asked if everything was ok and I said yes. She gave me a knowing look as if she understood. We paid the sad cashier, left empty handed and empty bellied to a chain restaurant where they know a thing or two about quality control, and food safety.
