Food was great! We had the fried whole snapper, which was delicious, the pad see ew, and the chicken larb. We ordered the larb hot spicy, and it was prepared the way we enjoy it. The heat builds nicely on the palette.
Their flavored drinks were good, too! We had the mango Strom and lychee wave.

This has recently opened. Excellent food. I had lamb with rice. It was tender with buttery taste. Had brown gravy with veggies. The sweet spicy wings were on point‼️It was crunchy, with a sweet sauce. You can tell the chicken was well marinated…not just sauce thrown on it. My Foodie Friend had Thai tea, which I heard was very good. He had the chicken fried rice, I believe.

100% Halal Maya Thai Cuisine on E. Fowler in Tampa (Temple Terrace).
Mash’ Allah the restaurant is nicely decorated from the curbside to the interior you see the thoughtfulness & attention to detail. It’s also well lit, clean and inviting.
The staff are amazing, attentive & genuinely want to please their customers.
We didn’t know that they are closed from 3:30 to 5:00, we went to lunch and stayed till a little before 4:00, no one said anything to us! That’s being courteous.
The food was fresh & delicious.
Today we had appetizers, chicken tom yum, tofu in green curry, volcano chicken & chicken fried rice with pineapples.
I still love the Mongolian Beef the best.
This is not my first visit, so I am happy to see that they are consistently good.

This place is so yummy!! I got the massamun curry and my fiance got the drunken noodles. Both were amazing! Some of the most flavorful Thai food we’ve had. The staff were all so nice and attentive. Definitely recommend

We visited Maya last month for dinner. The restaurant looks great and the servers are friendly. They serve zabiha halal meat, which is a plus. We started with gyoza and tom yum soup. The gyoza was very good and tasted fresh. But the tom yum soup was disappointing. It comes with chicken strips, and if you want shrimp instead, they charge $3 extra. Shrimp should be the default for tom yum soup, not an extra charge.
For our main dishes, we ordered tiger tears and fried rice. The steak was extremely dry and overcooked. When we asked the server what cut of steak it was, he just said it was from a cow. Even the chef just said “it’s steak” when asked. The fried rice had good flavor, but there was way too much basil. It completely overpowered everything else. I love basil, but this was too much. The atmosphere is nice, but the food quality is only a 2 out of 5 for me. I hope they learn how to properly make tom yum soup and cook steak properly without drying it out.

Saw this place had opened nearby and I was looking forward to trying the food. I placed a Togo order of garlic sea salt edamame, Salmon teriyaki and shrimp dumplings. I was told it would be 15-20 minutes so I showed up at the 20 minute mark. I waited another 14 minutes and finally got my order. I posted pics of everything i ordered and describe here. The garlic sea salt edamame were unusually oily, so i took them out of the container and there was a puddle of grease in the container (pictured). The garlic they were tossed in was overcooked and hard which lent a bitter taste to the peas that also drastically needed salt. The ‘shrimp’ dumplings were in the style of shumai, but only had tiny shrimp on top, the filling was definitely not shrimp, not sure what it was but it was unpleasant (pictured). The salmon teriyaki was flattened, the person who cooked this mashed it on the cook surface and then went well done (pictured), it was cooked firm and was mostly flavorless, not even salted, but came with a sauce that was pretty good to pour over. However even a great sauce couldnt save this smashed piece of salmon. Overall very disappointing, I live around the corner and was hoping for great food. I looked at the reviews before going and I wonder what happened to my order, it seemed like a very promising place.

This place smelled amazing from the outside so we were drawn in from the beginning! The green curry was super flavorful and worth the spice lol. I also tried some of my wife’s drunken noodles and my God! There was no miss at any part of our table! We WILL absolutely be coming back!!
