Where to start. The food prices are extremely high here $15.50 for two tacos with rice and beans. Atmosphere is horrendous, place needed a makeover about 20 years ago. Food was avg at best. Their rice had the taste and texture of Uncle Ben’s, almost wouldn’t doubt that’s what it was. Server was great so 5 stars for that, she was the only saving this from a one star. Price for these meals and two sodas was 39.50 before tip was.

Bland. Mediocre. Boring. No character.
We didn’t finish our salsa, we usually get at least one additional round of chips and salsa. The food was flavorless! Our premium margaritas were the star of the meal. People who like NO seasoning or spice or char would like this place. We trusted the overwhelmingly positive reviews and spent our anniversary dinner severely disappointed. I sent back the steak and ordered fajitas. Neither had flavor. Both were fatty. I really wonder if they cut my original streak and used it as the fajita steak. The photo shows the fajita ratio of meat to onions and peppers. No manager visited after we sent food back to the kitchen. 20 bucks per meal. I rarely add hot sauce, pepper, or salt to my restaurant food, but I had to. Horrible. We will never return.

We love the Hostess here….she always remembers us and treats us well! Honestly we have been going to Dos Amigos down the road for the last 7 years or so as it is simply better. BUT….with prices rising Dos Amigos is getting outrageous and if you have their coupon you can save 15 to 20% by going to Maya. And I must say their portions are bigger than ever and we had a really good experience this time! Salsa and margaritas equal to Dos Amigos.

This is not under new management. It’s still Chely, as always, and still great food. Chely and her sister own two restaurants and just wanted them to have the same name. All my Latino friends love this place. So, don’t take it from a gringo like me. The food is hot, fresh, and tastes great. It’s awesome and authentic.

We went to Maya with a party of 5. We were sat fairly quickly. We got our drinks within about 5 minutes of being sat. We then sat at our table with menus for another 50 minutes with no further service until we decided we were going to go else where. In this time the table next to us was able to order and get their food (while be it an incorrect order) we went to the register to pay for our drinks prior to leaving and we weren’t offered an apology or anything) so we left and went to dos Amigos in milford and got great service!
