Stumbled upon his place by accident will definitely return. They have a live music, amazing food ,amazing margaritas. The space was very clean and spacious plenty of seats. Bartenders were friendly will definitely return.

First time dining at Maya, and the food was delicious. Our server Josh was attentive and explained the drink and entrée menu very thoroughly. You have the opportunity to ask for more spicy sauces that hit the spot just right. The dishes were succulent and full of flavor. Carlos Lopez, the bar manager, checked in on us throughout the night and ensured that we had a great dining experience. We are definitely coming back!

After coming here multiple times and having great experiences. We were turned away twice now. Asked to wait over two hours for a table when there were clearly tables available. Private event both times??? Not even peak hours. We’re talking 5:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe it’s because we have our two children or maybe we’re the wrong color??? The hostess definitely gave those type of vibes. After coming here multiple times and having great experiences. We were turned away twice now. (Updating review: 4-stars from 2yrs ago – Great food and cocktail drinks. Service can be a bit slow.) Have been coming since my first review 2yrs ago, but updating to 5-stars. Service has become better since then. We love sitting at their patio. David was our server this time around and the service team was all-hands-on-deck with our group of ten (10). Food and presentation were exceptional like always. David was attentive and accommodating considering the busyness of the patio. Always a great time for cocktails and food!

One of my new favorite spots. To start, the ceviche and platanos were out of this world. Definitely try the platanos if they are still on the menu. The Carne Asada entre was 10/10 and the chimichurri made for a great pairing.

Beautiful little spot! It did not disappoint. Solo night so I had to treat myself. Food was good the atmosphere was great but the star of the show was my server Emilio. He recommended me dishes that I loved. Always checked up on me making sure I was satisfied and I don’t know how he did this but he convinced me to get dessert. If you go ask for him!

Drove past this place a million times and finally decided to come in and man I gotta say you get what you pay for because the food was . Per the bartenders recommendations I ordered the ceviche and Carne asada plate , both came out phenomenal and seasoned to perfection.

The food here is very delicious! The staff is always so incredibly nice. During our first visit when I told the waiter we had just moved to Oak Park he took it upon himself to write a short list of all the other great restaurants (besides Maya del Sol) in the area that we needed to try out! I live very close to here and can smell the wonderful food cooking every day they’re open and wish I could afford to eat here every day! The tortilla soup and the queso fundido have been my favorites so far. My son had the lamb and really enjoyed it as well! The covered patio is very lovely and cozy without feeling crowded.
