We were in the area and like to try new places. They have only been open for 3 weeks, so still are settling in. The food was very good and a new variety for us. Hoping they continue to do well. Worth the stop.

I decided to give this new restaurant a try and run by for takeout. The people were very friendly and helpful. The food was an amazing yet affordable lunch option that I will definitely have again. Side note, they understand when you ask for “spicy hot”. The sauce had such a great taste with a lot of sting.

Was browsing on fb marketplace and came across some pictures of the food and had to come and try it. I had an excellent time here and enjoyed my food.
I did take pictures of the menu, please note it can change at any time.

Place is pretty decent, I’m more used to Honduran food from Miami and that can’t be beat but this place is the closest to taste, though I would say it’s great to be diversified but including Mexican food will only confuse someone who has never eaten Honduran food, it’s important to showcase our food and our food only without including Mexican food since that’s just so overrated and Honduran food it’s self is delicious. I highly recommend to also please teach your waitress or whoever answers phone calls to know the menu better as placing orders is a bit difficult when they don’t know their menu.

We’ve been following Maya for months anxious to give it a try. We made the hour drive to do so over the weekend. As soon as we sat down, we were asked if we spoke Spanish. No big deal, I’ve dined a lot of places with only Spanish speakers and have had no issues. Once we said no, I feel like the atmosphere changed. We did not receive the drink we ordered although we pointed at the picture and said what we wanted. One of our dishes, same it was wrong. Waitress ignored us but paid attention to other tables of locals. Anything we asked for was not brought. No refills of drinks. Asked for the check, never brought it. We had to walk up. Not to mention, in an empty restaurant we were sat behind the only other table with an obnoxious child who repeatedly kicked the back of the chair over and over while they giggled and talked to the server.
Being in a place near pigeon forge, it’s expected you will get all kinds of people and to segregate those eating there due to language barrier is not okay.
