Got there 1 minute before 3 when the lunch special would have ended and she still honored it.
Food was fresh, sweet and sour pork actually had chunks of meat instead of lot of dough like the other restaurants.

Garlic shrimp was rubber in a heavy flour thick sauce with no taste. Eggroll over fried with no veg. Egg foo was not edible. The rice was good

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem: May Wah Chinese Restaurant on Northlake Blvd

May Wah Chinese Restaurant on Northlake Blvd is a true hidden gem, offering authentic and consistently delicious Chinese cuisine in a welcoming and casual setting. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, May Wah delivers quality and flavor that keeps customers coming back.

The menu features a wide array of traditional Chinese dishes, and every item is prepared with care and attention to detail. The General Tso’s Chicken is a standout—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in a perfectly balanced sweet and tangy sauce. The Beef with Broccoli is another favorite, featuring tender beef slices and vibrant, fresh broccoli in a savory brown sauce.

For seafood lovers, the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce is a must-try, offering generous portions of shrimp in a rich, flavorful sauce. Their house special fried rice is packed with a variety of meats and vegetables, making it a meal in itself.

Vegetarians will find plenty to enjoy, including the Buddha’s Delight, a medley of fresh vegetables in a light, savory sauce. The hot and sour soup is a perfect way to start your meal, with its bold flavors and hearty ingredients.

The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick lunch special or a full dinner spread, May Wah consistently delivers a satisfying experience.

If you’re in the Northlake Blvd area and craving great Chinese food, May Wah is a top choice. Highly recommended!

Been a customer for a few years and I’m finally getting around to making a review. Saw all the negative reviews and I have to say I’ve never had a bad experience here. They make great food, especially their fried rice. I love ordering it right after work. It always hits the spot for me. The chinese couple who run this place have been very kind and friendly towards me and I honestly wish the best for them. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to order chinese takeout.

Hands down my fav Chinese spot for many many years ! Old school take out style . Prices are good and the food is exactly what you want from a Chinese Restaurant. Seasoned well , good portions and the wings are actually full wings with that authentic flavor . Online ordering is a breeze and they have never missed any items .

Gave me old school chinese restaurant feel. Food was great, beef was tender, shrimp was big and sweet and the vegetables were stire fried to perfection and still crunchy. Love the appetizers that we got, Rangoon, dumplings and eggrolls have a lot of filling to it. Definitely recommend if you want to have the old school mom and pap taste. Also run by mom and paps with there kids just like the old days.

I’m actually extremely disappointed~ the only thing I asked for was HOT MUSTARD & extra… guess what I got NO HOT MUSTARD AT ALL?! Like is this a joke? I spend $25+ Before tip and delivery fee~ and the only specification I asked for was EXTRA HOT MUSTARD & soy sauce. This is what I got… oh I can only post pictures to Yelp so go look there~ moral of the story I got ZERO HOT MUSTARD, not even the packets??!! No, I won’t order from here again because they can’t even read simple instructions. So I wouldn’t trust them with any food instructions….

This restaurant never fails to deliver the best because of its freshness, authenticity, and quality. It is so hard to come across fresh food that isn’t processed, the food here is always fresh and made with a variety of delicious vegetables and meat. For example, the fried rice isn’t plain like other places but has an abundance of eggs, vegetables, and meat. The food is genuine and delicious. The restaurant is family owned which is hard to come across in this corporate run industry, their ability to survive even after the pandemic shows that they have a huge community of devoted customers. If you live in Palm Beach County and are craving the freshest, most authentic Chinese food, get May Wah!
