$69 for 2 people including tax + tip. The best part was the mango sticky rice dessert! The entrees were ok, noodles kind of overcooked imo. Their physical menu in the restaurant is kind of gross, clearly really old and needs replaced with multiple things taped over the lamination. The service was really nice though!

I don’t usually write reviews but this was by far the best Thai we ate as a family. Everything was fresh, tasty, home style.
Great service. The seating and general atmosphere is also very relaxing and spacey.
We come here occasionally for our kids sailing and will sure to stop by during other regattas in the area.

I would say they are pretty good for their food and service. The restaurant is not that big like many others on the Park Street.
Thai ice tea with coconut milk tastes good if you like sweets drink.
Overall, their food is mild to mild spicy. If you tolerate and love spicy food, you may be kind of disappointed. But for someone can eat some spicy, their spicy are good enough to satisfy you. lol.

I’ve never been here before and somewhat new to Alameda so thought I would grab some Thai food here.
I got carry out: pad see ew, papaya salad and chicken wings coming to about $50 which took almost 40 min — only one person doing dinner service and cash register.
The chicken wings were so overcooked that most of meat was too hard to even eat I had to toss it — also too sweet for me. Heavy on the sugar.
The papaya salad had no fish sauce in it!?! A shock since I look forward to that flavor so had to get that on the side, but still didn’t taste right.
Lastly, the pad see ew tasted good, but I found a piece of hair and a staple in it. Thank God, I have good instincts and sensitivity that I caught it before I swallowed it.
Disappointed all around. Will not come back.

Visited here for lunch with family. Prices are reasonable with good portions. We ordered chicken satay, yellow curry, green curry, pad me mao and pineapple fried rice. Food was very tasty. Very good service. Restaurant is well maintained. Highly recommend this place.

I can’t say enough good things about May Thai. I first moved to Alameda about a year ago, and was searching for my new go-to Thai spot. I have been to countless Thai restaurants and nothing comes close to May Thai! I tell everyone I know to come here. It’s my favorite date night spot, and I take family and friends here every time somebody visits. PP is a truly masterful chef. She always makes sure that her patrons are satisfied and values every person who walks through their doors. Service is always absolutely wonderful. The kindest people and absolutely consistently amazing food. Please do yourself a favor and visit here!

May Thai serves up a diverse menu of both traditional and fusion Thai dishes, using fresh ingredients and homemade seasoning/pastes. May Thai is a great mainstay location for folks in and around Alameda. They are our local go-to for good Thai food; happily recommend!

The Thai ice tea.was a bit more sweet then I would have liked but it was good.. the tom yum soup was with noodle and well they have 2 one with noodles and one that’s without…didn’t know their were different ones other then the protein option.

Came here for dinner and tried the green beans with chicken and the seafood eggplant sizzling platter main. Both were really tasty . I thought the seafood eggplant platter was exceptional. I liked how the eggplant charred nicely on the sizzling platter.
Ate everything with jasmine rice . Service was friendly and the restaurant was nicely lit.
Will definitely be back again for more delicious food!
