A cute little ice cream spot with a great variety of flavors. Perfectly sweetened and creamy. Everything we got was so good. The kids size was 1 scoop and the small was a generous 2 scoops. The people working there were so sweet. Make sure you bring cash they don’t take other payments here. They have picnic tables at the back and a cute little train set for the kids.

East Aurora is charming and this place is one of the reasons why! It’s great for families as there is plenty of picnic tables for seating, a Thomas the train ride on and even a train that circles the top of the building. They serve Perry’s both hard and soft serve ice cream in a bunch of different flavors at reasonable prices.

Nice little place with plenty of choices and great pricing.
Kids loved playing around on the Thomas trains outside as well as the train that went around the top of the building.
Great place to take the kids!

A fun spot to grab some ice cream. They’ve got lots of flavors and soft serve. They even have treats for your dog. Lots of outdoor seating and they’re open pretty late on the weekends. FYI cash only.

Had ice-cream here this past summer, I really enjoyed it, I got the soft serve but they have both, I also got the hand made waffle cone which was really enjoyable, place has a nice nostalgic video and a nice little park next to it to enjoy your ice cream

It was red and it was a caboose. Not sure how it got there; but they do serve icecream, so that’s cool. Cash only though.

Maybe have an adult somewhere on premises, just 5 young teenage girls with no supervision, they were all more interested in talking to each other than actually working. Waited 20 minutes for a simple Sunday. Plenty of other good ice cream shops around that are deserving of your money. This is definitely NOT one

This young man here at the red caboose had amazing customer service and was so unbelievably nice and such a gentlemen. He had a very kind hearted soul. The atmosphere at the red caboose was a very nice and calm atmosphere for me to enjoy my ice cream. I wanna say thank you to the young man and young lady for a great ice cream experience!!!

Unfortunately, for $5.75, I just had THE worst vanilla ice cream in a sugar cone with chocolate sprinkles I’ve ever had in my life. My favorite has just become a bad memory thanks to the literal chunks of ice in my vanilla ice cream. Chunks. Of. Ice. Yes, actually chunks. Ice cream shouldn’t be this way. Something definitely went awry with tub of vanilla the nice young lady scooped it from. I suspect some of it—the portion I was served—melted and accumulated water that froze into an ice cube when moisture condensed and separated the cream. Anyway, after this experience I will not go back. For around the same price I could get amazing handcrafted ice cream at Rosie’s on Main Street. Boy, I wish I had. You should.

Not my favorite place for ice cream in East Aurora but the charm of ice cream out of a caboose plus the opportunity to use the ride on trains for my son are what has brought us back. However, this year (2024) things are not great. Ice cream is half melted, servings are small, and the service is nothing to rave about. When mentioning to the young man who brought my ice cream that I thought I had asked for it in a dish (so as to not take someone else’s ice cream), he put the ice cream cone in a dish, pulled off the cone and threw it out (with half of the ice cream in it). I don’t know why he thought that was the best plan as normally people would just put the ice cream in a dish with the cone. Hope things improve as more training/experience is achieved with the staff, but we’ll probably walk a bit farther to enjoy our ice cream next time.
