The roof top patio is awesome!! A couple tables have hanging hammock chairs, there is bar seating looking onto the road, bar seating at the bar itself, as well as patio furniture seating!! The bartender/server was attentive, accommodating (especially with my weird request), and sweet!!
The food was pretty good!! The only thing I didn’t care for is that the chicken on my salad was cold (I was later informed all protein on the salads as served cold, which wasn’t stated on the menu unfortunately), but even cold the chicken was delicious!! Highly recommend and would go again!!

Came here for the first time during Covid. Ate outside on top of my spoiler with friends in the parking lot.
Came back today and enjoyed our service and the atmosphere. My food was good bht my GF’s was not right 2 times. The took it off the tab. I tipped the waitress well as it wasn’t her fault.
Overall, I would come again for the views alone.

Ordered delivery pizza arrived cold about an hour later. Asked them to remake it they call back 40 mins later stating they can’t make anymore deliveries and offered to ‘make it right’ by refunding the whole thing and giving me half off next time. This sounded great until I was told it would be an additional half hour to make my food. Not impressed.

At Maxwells pizza and rooftop bar you will find yourself some great views of the river, cold beers, and some pretty good food. Their subs are pretty good, thier salads have cold meat in them with fresh looking vegetables and I’m not sure how the pizza is because I didn’t try one. You over look also over looks a lower section that has a stage for an outside band or other entertainment. It would probably be a hopping place on a night like that. But definitely a place to stop and experience.

One of my favorite places to hit up in the area! Delicious food, beautiful scenery – it’s right on the river, a new bowling alley is right next to it. We also went there, it was very nice! Definitely recommend checking this place out! Oh and they have swinging chairs on the balcony, they’re fun!

First time customer, fun environment at the bowling alley and very polite staff. You guys missed your chance with the pizza though. I ordered a margherita pizza and what I received was far from it. Expecting a pizza with sauce/tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil, what I got was a well done flat cheese pizza with dried basil flakes and a flood of balsamic vinegar – yuk!

With Jessica being my Server/Bartender for my very first visit here, I’d say I had a freaking blast, thanks to her and the amazing scenery surrounding the area, from the streets to the roof! Food was delicious, prices aren’t terrible &the rooftop patio was THE BEST! Definitely going back! Thank you Jessica for letting me be your lab rat for the flight board. We are pizza snobs (well my husband is) lol.
We even took left overs home and my mother in law loved the White pizza that I had.
We love trying different pretzels and this one didn’t disappoint
We want to come back and try something else and maybe the adjoining business. Looks like a fun place.
McConnellsville definitely has some of the best places to eat!
Alot of great options and great food but also Great people.
Server was very sweet and nice. Talked about the other businesses around and was very genuine.

The rooftop patio was amazing. The weather was cold & rainy but the clear plastic wall panels & ceiling mount heaters kept it toasty. The rain actually added to the atmosphere!
The food here is amazing and the people are great young adults with attitudes & friendly service (not always easy to find these days).

This is undoubtedly one of the coolest places I’ve been to in a while. The staff super friendly. The food amazing. And above all the beer was literally ice cold. I highly suggest the visit because you won’t be disappointed.
