Heard of Max & Louie’s through social media & DO NOT regret coming to try! The staff is amazing, we were greeted & sat immediately upon entering. The gentleman who sat us advertised their delicious special beverages that come in a transparent canned containers. I myself ordered the Strawberry Matcha, and my boyfriend ordered the Orange Coffee (both were delicious. We both ordered the breakfast burrito to eat, it was brought out by one of the chefs who also checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying. Amanda our server was great, and so friendly throughout the entire service. Overall the food, beverages, & service were all amazing and we most definitely will be back! I absolutely recommend coming by to try.

Was so excited to try this trending new place, especially the cute canned drinks. The Orange Pop Coffee (?) was delicious. Unfortunately that’s were the taste ended for our party. The hollandaise lacked flavor and was the consistency of whipped heavy cream almost. The bechamel sauce tasted too much like Dijon and nothing else. Not be be not picky but there was no regular ketchup and the seasoned potatoes were like the kind you get at the continental breakfast at a 3-Star hotel. I will say I really liked the Buddies Sandwich and the ricotta pancakes were devine. Everything else fell pretty short, portions didn’t align and the price point seemed really high. I don’t know that we’ll be back or recommend even though we were so excited to try!

I went here this morning with a friend and let me tell you it was literally the best breakfast I have ever had. The food was so good! I got the lemon ricotta pancakes and my friend got the breakfast bowl with pulled pork. They were both amazing! The pancake were fluffy and light and the bowl tasted so good. The servers were all super friendly and helpful with giving recommendations on what to try. The owner was helping everyone out to ensure great service and was super nice. He let us know that they are adding more to the drink menu and let us try one that is soon to be added to the menu. I also got the lavender matcha and honestly it was the best matcha I’ve ever had! I would highly recommend coming to this place and I plan on going back to try their lunch. My friend really enjoyed the pictures of all the dogs on the walls. Also this place is named after the owners dogs, which is very cute! The parking lot is a bit small though so you might have to look for parking on the street but trust me it is very worth it!

What a neat place! The food was 10/10 and the service was even better.

My little brother had celiac disease and they went above and beyond to make sure that gloves were changed and all food was safe.

As a first-time visitor to Wepa Café, I was genuinely impressed by how unique and inviting the whole experience was. Tucked away in Garden City, this place instantly stands out — from the colorful decor to the vibrant Puerto Rican music playing in the background, everything felt warm and full of energy.

The service was truly fantastic. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took time to explain the menu, which I really appreciated as someone trying Puerto Rican cuisine for the first time.

I ordered a couple of their signature dishes, and while the flavors were bold and comforting, I did find that the food was just a little bit overdone in places. Not enough to ruin the meal, but it was noticeable. Still, the overall taste and portion sizes made up for it.

The rooftop patio was a great bonus — relaxed and perfect for soaking up the sunshine. I also love that they give back through hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico; it made the experience feel even more meaningful.

All in all, Wepa Café gave me a memorable first impression. I’d definitely go back — this place has heart.

The food here was actually pretty solid — everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. No complaints about the quality itself. However, the service really brought the experience down.

Our server walked away before we were even finished giving our order, which was confusing and honestly a little rude. Throughout the meal, she was very short with us and didn’t seem interested in being there. It made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable instead of welcoming.

For the price, I expected a much higher level of service. The food was good, but it was expensive, and when you’re paying that much, you hope the experience matches.

Overall, decent food but disappointing service, especially for the cost.

I appreciate the clean eating approach, with gluten free items and nothing cooked with seed oils. The service was excellent and the Cafe building is beautiful. The only area I struggled was with the menu. I had a hard time selecting what to eat. If you are interested in more unique original dishes, it will be great for you. I just simply wanted some boring old steak and eggs and that isnt there approach. I was glad to know my food was prepared without seed oils!

Stopped by today to try this cute new spot. Parking is pretty limited but the food and service were good. Pricing seems steep, but I think it’s pretty on par with eating out these days.
Great: tomato soup, grilled cheese, blueberry pancakes
Good: huevos rancheros, croque madam, fried
Not good: French toast. (I think it’s deep fried and the oil temp is off because it ends up just being an oil sponge. :/
Sounds like it’s a minimal menu for now and they’ll grow over time- excited for them to work out the kinks and become a fun new space!

Amazing food and generous portions. Best brunch spot in the Treasure Valley. You can taste the freshness of the local ingredients. The Eggs Benedict on a Gaston English muffin is incredible, and the huevos rancheros and pancake stack were just as good. Took my boys here for brunch and we loved it. Our new go-to spot.

Good food but a bit pricey for what it was. The lemon ricotta pancake was delicious and unique. The veggie skillet was solid, very good potatoes. French toast was a bit like churros, too sweet for my taste.

Long lines for breakfast and not much parking around. This would be great on the patio in summer.

Have to say I really miss Wepas though (which was previously at this location).
