I walked in and immediately sat at the bar around 5pm on a Sunday. It wasn’t busy. Everything looked nice and clean. I got the chicken paprikash for $19. The bartender did a good job. The food was delicious. The quantity was good but not excessive. I’d never have leftovers. I don’t live nearby, but I’ll definitely go back in the future. It’s a convenient stop for a trip from Youngstown to Cleveland as the place is less than a mile from 422.

Fun atmosphere and awesome food! I had the pan-seared walleye, and it was excellent. My colleague ordered the wedding soup and the salmon taco with house-made chips — everything was fantastic.
Service truly went above and beyond. Our server was KP (not sure what it stands for, but I’m guessing “Key Performance” ). She was polite, responsive, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu as first-timers.

Our dining experience was delightful, thanks to our server, Ann. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with the most genuine, friendly smile and made us feel instantly welcome.
Ann was attentive without being intrusive, checking on us at just the right moments. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations, (the Chicken Paprikash is delicious) and happily answering all of our questions.
This level of personalized, caring service is rare and made our meal so much more enjoyable.
The cozy atmosphere complements the exceptional service, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely the place to be if you’re looking for great food and great atmosphere! Our first time to this new location and we’ll definitely be back! The food was just as phenomenal as it is at the Twinsburg location! The staff is beyond friendly and helpful! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and Brandon and the staff make you feel like you’re visiting old friends! Great experience! Definitely recommend!!

We chose this place to watch Game 1 of the world series. I took the time to come to the place the day before to check if they would have the game and the sound from the broadcast on.
When I walked up to the bartender and asked she responded “of course” like I was crazy for even asking.
Fast forward to tonight, not only did they not have the game on, when we asked, we got an eye roll and they reluctantly, eventually put the game on without the sound. They refused to the game broadcast on stating they only do that for local teams. There was maybe 10-12 people there and no one was watching anything.
To make the best of the situation, I put the game on my phone to listen while we watched. They responded by putting the bar music volume up louder.
We ordered a drink and got the poutine. Server was not kind and the poutine was not poutine. Reheated, frozen shoestring fries and no cheese curds is not poutine. NOT WORTH $18.
Avoid this place. Dishonest, bad service and overpriced bad food.
There are so many other places. Do waste your money here.

Cassie was an absolutely fantastic server! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and checked on us just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect. Our drinks were never empty, the food came out exactly as ordered, and her positive attitude really elevated the whole experience. Five stars to Mavis Public House for hosting our recent private event – especially on a brutally cold day! The staff didn’t miss a thing. From quickly pivoting to a better location at the last minute, to helping us redesign decorations on the fly, they were calm, thoughtful and kind to a few stressed hostesses (thank you!). Everything wently smoothly, our guest had a great time (clueless to the quick change), the food and selections were fantastic, and the best – we got to enjoy the event!
