Nostalgia of a warm home cooked meal. Very reasonably priced and has variety of sides to complete a full meal. It isn’t gourmet or fancy, but wholesome and a huge step up from Denny’s and better food. Attentive and nice server. A Pittsburgh iconic restaurant to try.

This place has the best service I have had for a long time. The food was excellent. All the people I met there were friendly and nice. I got the veil cordon bleu and it was great. I also had twice baked potato and barley soup. Also excellent. The place has a great ambience and friendly people. I would go out of my way to come here again. They are open Mondays!

I Haven’t been to Drew Menas for quite some time, but decided to go todayon Jan 9 2026 . I ordered the Veal Cordon Bleu. The waitress was pleasant & polite but never came back to check on our food to make sure everything was ok. The Veal Cordon Bleu was hard to chew like as if it was similar to shoe leather, honestly & I only took one (1) bite of it & I ate the two sides instead while looking and waiting for the waitress to return. So when the waitress returned, she acknowledged that it didn’t look good either when I told her my dinner of the Veal Cordon Bleu itself was bad but the sides were fine. Upon returning after bringing me a menu to order a new entree she informed me that she was told that I had to *Pay for 50% of the Veal Cordon Bleu* even when ordering a new Enree! I have never experienced such an attitude from a mgmt/owner in my lifetime! This was NO WAY to treat a customer! I knew I wouldn’t & shouldn’t get 2 more side dishes with my new order of an Entree replacement but to have to pay an additional 50% for the first entree of the Veal Cordon Bleu as well as for my 2nd entree choice was unprofessional and wrong!. I ended up then getting the Chicken Cordon Bleu which was always good in the past as it was today. The *owner* didn’t like me stating that I’ve lived here in this town for a long time now and to receive a horrible attitude of telling me I’d have to pay 50,% for the badly made Entree along with another Entree, it would make me share my experience with others that I know in this township if I was going to be treated this poorly. The other Entree that was ordered by who was with me was fine thiugh for the Fish Sandwich but not the Mac n Cheese. We will never return back to that restaurant!

Decided to stop for a bite , took almost an hour for our food. My pizza was on the cold side. The lettuce on the Italian hoagie pizza was wilted. My husband’s pizza was hot . Service was kinda slow . But still a good place hang .

I ordered the broiled fish dinner. My son ordered a Ruben sandwich. Both of our meals were very good. The clam chowder is freshly made and delicious. Our server was super friendly and very efficient. The parking lot is newly finished and there is ample parking.

Absolutely terrible!!! The waitress was rude !!! I have swallowing problems and they refused to take it off the bill then some other lady comes and says I can have something else. I had the cabbage rolls and there was no sour kraut and the sauce is literally tomato soup with milk. I’m not kidding. They told me nothing was wrong with the cabbage rolls meanwhile the cabbage was so hard and chewy I could barely cut it. Don’t get the cabbage rolls !!! Go somewhere else don’t even bother I will not be coming back .

Went here the other day and to say that it was a mixed bag would be an understatement. The positive, the wings and the fries were fantastic, I’d definitely like to order them again.
However, I don’t think I’d really like to be in the restaurant again. It took roughly 10 minutes for the waitress to take our drink orders. The menu listed Coke products, but their version of “cola” isn’t Coke and tasted flat. The waitress informed us that it was a cola so I ordered a lemonade instead, and it still had a sour taste.
The food order took roughly 30 minutes and there were only two other tables, one of them were done with their meals when we got there so it was a very slow process. I’d maybe place a to-go order for a pick up, but I can’t see myself sitting there for such an extended period of time to get wings and fries.
Finally, the atmosphere was absolutely atrocious. The previously mentioned table that finished their meals before we got there were very, very loud and obnoxious. They were the type that had to be loud enough that the entire building could hear their conversation. I know it’s not the staff’s fault, but I honestly would rethink dinner here again if that particular table are regulars.
Overall, I’d like to get the food again, but wouldn’t want to spend any time in the restaurant. The food was good, but the service was very slow and the patrons were obnoxious.
