I will start with the biscuits are Amazing! The portions are huge. The restaurant is clean not noisy. I revisited today. Thought I had found a new breakfast place. Not! I requested the same as previous visit (egg biscuit) . Only to be told they do not have that on the menu and Taylors offers it. Very argumentative. I showed her a picture of my post from 2 days ago, because I thought it was a language barrier. She insisted no they do not serve egg biscuits. From 5 stars to 2.

Maverick Biscuit in Inman is absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, creative, and full of flavor — easily some of the best breakfast and brunch you can get in the area. The biscuits are huge, fluffy, and perfectly made, and the menu has plenty of unique combinations that actually deliver. The service is friendly and quick, and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. Every visit has been consistently excellent. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere near Inman!

The biscuits are the best around. They are big, not heavy, and have great buttery flavor. There isn’t a reason to add anything to the biscuit. However, they also offer flavored butters and different jams. I usually try a few of those, and they’re really good, but I end up eating at least half of the biscuit without anything. So good!
Now that I’ve rambled on about the biscuits, I’ll talk about some other items. The grits are creamy goodness! There is pepper jack in the grits so there is just the right amount of spice to them. Omelets are big and fluffy, with a good amount of fillings. Dan’l Boone ham is country ham but not too salty. I’m not a fan of salty ham and this ham fits in my taste range.
All food I’ve eaten has been great.
Service is always good. The last several times, my server has been Alex. He’s always friendly, attentive, helpful with the menu and substitutions, and provides great service with a smile!
If you haven’t been, you must go!

I had the nashville hot chicken biscuit that was delicious. Comes with a fluffy Jalapeño cheddar biscuit and a hefty chicken breast cover in sweet and spicy sauce. Huge portion with big flavor. This is THE place to get breakfast.

Went for breakfast after church to give this a try. We were underwhelmed. Good looked great but was very bland. Biscuits were not as fluffy as other places. Service was great though! Rachel was our server and was very attentive

Food was good. Service was excellent! However, chairs were uncomfortable and our table was super small. The restaurant was noisy; had a little difficulty hearing our kind waitress. Acoustic tiles would be very helpful. A little on the pricey side. Total cost for 2, with tip, was about $50.

Stopped in for breakfast.
It was a weekday, and not too busy.
I ordered the meat lovers bowl.
It was a big portion of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and ham.
Served over home fries, it was great!
There is a biscuit on the side as well.
Service was great and attentive.
I’ll definitely be back!

We’ve tried this place 3 times. Each time it is so disappointing. The pancakes are awful- they look and taste like the biscuit batter which just misses the mark for pancakes. The berries always seem old and unwashed, the bacon seems like it is cooked ahead of time and warmed up. The butter bar is lackluster. The kitchen, which you can see when you walk in, looks like it needs a good cleaning. Even the salt shakers were filled with coarse salt which would not come out of the shaker. Instead of fixing this, they rely on customers to unscrew the tops to get salt out- unsanitary and silly. This will be our last visit.

Kinda just your average diner food. We had the standard Maverick biscuit sandwich (one with fried bologna and the other with fried chicken tender), side of home fries, side of sausage gravy, and a side of fried green tomatoes. Home fries were warm when delivered but cooled off super quick. Biscuits were traditional cathead biscuit (more of a huge drop style than rolled out with flaky layers). It wasn’t bad, just not spectacular. Bill came to $37, not including tip, for 2 people. The sides made it add it quickly. Side note: the bologna biscuit had an extra egg on it hence extra charge there too.
