If you are looking and have a taste for Mexican food, go here now, stop looking go now you will be happy you did, but give us a like now.

First the food was amazing, and so flavorful. Not that bland stuff, not spicy hot, just a lot of delicious flavor like the meat was marinated.
We had asada and pollo burritos and they were great! The sauces were also very flavorful without being over whelming. My mouth is watering just thinking of it while writing this review.

Service was fast for such good food. Very nice folks working hard to prove some delicious food.

️While the location is across from the water and it’s like a mini park, everything around it was kind of industrial but you can still get your food to go and find a nice spot on the water.

Parking can be a little cramped and really only 4-6 cars can fit in the parking lot next door, or you can park on the street for 3 or 5 min.

We stopped again towing a trailer as we left for county so doing worry just go get some of this food now.

Mauricio’s is hands-down the best Mexican food around! Every dish tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care – you can really tell how much pride they put into their cooking.

Mauricio himself is one of the friendliest people you’ll meet – he always greets everyone with a smile and makes you feel like family. The service is fast, and the atmosphere is welcoming whether you’re dining at the picnic tables or grabbing takeout.

Their online ordering system is also fantastic – super easy to use, reliable, and perfect for busy nights when you still want something delicious.

Highly recommend Mauricio’s for anyone who loves authentic, high-quality Mexican food and genuine hospitality!

It’s definitely worth stopping at Mauricio’s for a quick taco! They were so delicious and fresh and we love that they had hot sauces available when you eat there. There were plenty of tables to eat outside and parking across the street. It will be hard not to stop here every time we drive through Sturgeon Bay now…

Food truck that we stumbled upon, next to an antique store we were headed to. The owner recommended the shrimp and mahi mahi. We also got the mango salsa and home made chips! All were fantastic!!!! I would absolutely recommend! Super friendly and fast!

What a gem! Looking for something really tasty at a very affordable price? Look no further! This family owned joint is a must! We were referred by local. Way better than adobo or chipotle!

DELICIOUS! I love trying tacos, and this place has won me over for great tacos in northern Wisco. The guac is to die for: the guac is so creamy and the chips are fresh. Will be taking some to go. We tried the fish, shrimp, pork, chorizo and beef tacos. Also one chicken tamale! The red sauce is perfectly spicy, the green sauce is flavorful, and the pico tasty. Oofda! Roll me home!

This is a family operation preparing some great Mexican food on site in a food trailer. I have eaten here twice and have just about tried everything, not to be disappointed. I moved to Sturgeon Bay from Texas 10 years ago and this area has always lacked the flavors of a good taco spot that offers a great small menu that will put a smile on your face. Maricio’s has a well kept outdoor eating area, a treat and water spot for your pets if you are just passing through and  you are within walking distance to three city parks if you choose to eat on the canal for a water view. You will have to exit off 57/42  and head into Sturgeon Bay to find Maricio’s. Skipping this stop if you are hungry thinking you’re going to find something better or familiar further north will only do your belly a disservice. Give it a try, you will stop again leaving Door County.

We were here visiting Door county for my mom’s birthday and didn’t want to eat another burger and fries. Did a little looking online and found this little gem. As Mexican American women born and raised in Chicago, having lived in Milwaukee and now Racine, we seriously approve. I think it’s even better than other places we’ve been to, and about as good as our home cooking, lol. My husband, who prefers the burgers and fries, and who doesn’t usually give compliments, said this was better than any other taco he’s tasted. The only hiccup was that the young man who took our order missed one of the tacos we asked for, but the owner made it right for us. Support this local business, places like this are hard to find.
