Reviews
The poke was hands-down the best we’ve had on the island, and the street tacos were honestly some of the best tacos we’ve ever had (and we’re total taco connoisseurs ). The variety of toppings and add-ons was amazing and everything tasted super fresh.
It’s right next to Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman – Wailea—which you should absolutely visit too—but make sure Maui Poké is on your must-stop list. We already can’t wait to go back!
Service: 2 stars because of meal size. The servant was professional
Atmosphere: 5 start. Clean place for tourists
I ordered two poke bowls: one large and one medium. The only difference between them was the amount of rice. The large bowl is supposed to come with more protein, which is what should determine the price of the dish. The price should not be based on rice and vegetables.
Also, the pieces of onion were cut into huge chunks — about an inch by an inch — which is unacceptable.
I highly recommend going to grocery stores instead — there are plenty on the island — where you can get real poke with so much protein (tuna, in my case) that you can’t even finish it. I won’t even comment on the price, since this place is clearly focused on tourists.
