This is real Texas BBQ! Any time you don’t need to drown the brisket in bbq sauce to make it taste good, you know they are the real deal! The burnt ends were cooked perfectly and the mac n cheese was awesome! Come pay them a visit, you will not be disappointed

We found them at Deep Roots for the day for their Sunday Sip and Shop. Everything was awesome. Turkey, pulled pork, pineapple coleslaw and potato casserole – all was delicious.

Some of the best barbecue you will ever eat brisket, pulled pork. So they make a burger completely out of brisket, this burger is so good. You must try it the peppered Turkey is phenomenal. Smoked to perfection, not dry and full of flavor. The sides… street corn, the pineapple coleslaw, the potato casserole and beans taste unbelievable. I would highly recommend.

The barbecue was so good and so was the sauce. The only suggestion is maybe to cut the barbecue slices a bit more thin, overall I love this place and it’s a great brisket in magnolia. I loved the little food truck and it’s designed great job!

Look, I am sure the bbq is the absolute best thing ever but that is why I gave the food portion a 3/5. I only had the Mexican street corn (more on that in a second) so this review is solely off that.
Mexican Street Corn (elotes) is a corn dish that is normally sold on a cob but can be in a bowl like this (this was not my problem) and is corn, mayonnaise, crème, cotija cheese, chili powder, lime juice, and cilantro. Absolutely delicious when done correctly.
What they sell here, that’s not Mexican street corn. That was just corn with a bit of chili powder and cilantro and maybe a drop of crème. Maybe. I grew up on this dish and this was 100% not it. I still ate it, because I was starving and needed something quick food wise so I could get back to the game because I was there since the first game as the on hand first aid person, but this can’t be called Mexican street corn. That is an insult to my family and their heritage. I highly suggest going to a part of the city that has an elotes man or go to an actual Mexican restaurant (Gringos and Taco Bell doesn’t count) where you can see someone making tortillas by hand and fajitas aren’t their main course and order some elotes. I may not be biologically Mexican but I grew up in that world, and so I can make the foods the proper way and I can easily guarantee you this needs to go back to the drawing board. I am not gonna lie, I was wondering why a bbq place was selling elotes but figured it’s no big everyone has the right to sell what they want as long as they are actually selling what they say they’re selling and when I was asked if I was okay with the crème and cilantro that made me feel good that they were taking me into consideration because not everyone likes those two things (hence the service and atmosphere marked as 5 stars) but then when I saw what I was getting and tasted it I felt sad. Oh and another suggestion you could add to the menu if you would like, is make it to where they can either choose a cob or a bowl and make it to where the cob is about the same price as the small bowl (that’s honestly about how much corn was in the small bowl by the looks of it) or maybe a hair less for the cob than the bowl just for pure convenience (that’s honestly is the one thing they did right, the smallest size was equal to a full cob) and that way you can offer it either way and please everyone. If y’all want I can answer any questions yall have about it. Just let me know here.

I’ve never figured out where this is. We have been in the parking lot and walked around on a few different occasions. No signs out to even hint it might be somewhere on the property. Was there last Sunday at 4pm. No sign of this food truck once again
