Mid morning and was hungry from working all night
Even though was hungry coupd not finish and had to get a to go as was to delicious to waste
Got the Farmer’s Skillet with Pancakes, great way to get full
Only thing better was the nice young lady Ms Rosie, whom keep the coffee topped up and ensured everything was spot on

I went for a breakfast during the week with my uncle and aunt, so we did not experience any long waiting time. We were seated quickly and not rushed during our visit either. It was a comfortable place and our waitress was friendly. I enjoyed their cherry crepes.

This breakfast place was on my list for a while, and finally, I got to try this weekend. We were seated as soon as we walked in, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. Our waitress was very friendly, kept checking on us, and asked for feedback. She was on top of her service, so thank you for that.
The restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere was open, with lots of daylight. We ordered Gypsy Omelet and Turkey Divine Omelet. With packages and French toast. Their menu is rich, which is a plus. I really liked the Gypsy Omelet, I have added saur cream and hot sauce to it. Turkey Omelet was good, too. I asked the hashbrown to be extra crispy. It was perfectly cooked to my taste. This breakfast place definitely earned my business. Prices are more than fair, in my opinion.

Ham, green pepper, onion skillet. Half order of biscuits and gravy. Skillet was good. Biscuits and gravy could have used a little bit more sausage but gravy had a nice thickness to it and the flavor was good. I had ordered two sausage patties so I cut those up and added it after this picture was taken. Coffee was good and hot and they kept it coming. Prices were good. Would definitely go back.

They tack on an extra four percent fee for “credit card processing” right before you pay. I didn’t even notice this and I’ve been coming here for a long time. I cannot stand when businesses do this. I like the staff and the spot but I just can’t give places that apply this practice my business. Very disappointed.

I have been here numerous times however, I will not be returning after this visit. There were all these open tables yet we were sat right behind this couple who was having an intense conversation about the server’s trauma and was not being quiet about it at all. That server seemed to be in charge or the manager so being loud in that environment was not appropriate behavior at all coming from a manager. My boyfriend has a gluten and dairy allergy and since they serve gluten free items they should have just been able to put water instead of dairy for the pancakes or waffles when our server asked the lady in her deep conversation about her personal issues she seemed very annoyed that she was interrupted with such a question and snapped back saying “no we do not do dairy free!” Weird because every other restaurant does not seem to have a problem with doing that. None of the servers even bothered to ask the kitchen… It also did not help that our waitress was super quiet we could barely hear her especially because of the other lady talking with her customers so loud. I understand that this is just a mom and pop spot, however I have been to many and have never had an experience as unwelcoming as this one. If you are going to be in the serving industry and the whole restaurant is empty do not sit people right by each other it is uncomfortable. Also our bill did not add up at all, I either got upcharged for getting an english muffin or our coffee was $5 a cup.

Grood food and service. My only complaint is I ordered a Patty Melt and the onions were not grilled, that’s never happened to me before. The Patty Melt was just ok, nothing soecial. They had the best onion rings I’ve ever tasted.

I have been coming to Matty’s through several evolutions of management. Dany and Andrea, the owners, are my friends but my critique is honest. Today many people don’t take time to leave comments including me, but today out of over 600 people there was only one customer review and it was negative. The reason this person chose to complain was because of the cost of credit card charges that were passed onto them. There is a sign at the register that very clearly states this and it has been prominently displayed for many years. In addition this is a normal practice today because the restaurants are charged a service fee for you to be able to use your credit card. They are just charging this charge back to you because you chose to use a credit card. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Marty’s Grill has become our go-to spot for Sunday breakfast. There’s rarely a long wait, yet the place is always bustling. A good sign of consistent quality. Despite the crowd, we’re always seated and served quickly, and the food arrives in a reasonable amount of time.
I’ve only ever ordered from their breakfast menu, and I’ve never been disappointed. The Greek omelette is my favorite, packed with flavor, and their hash browns are cooked to perfection. Anyone who’s picky about hash browns knows that’s not easy to come by!
