It’s a buffet but it’s organized and delicious warm food. Prime rib perfectly cooked and seasoned. Chicken masala tender and saucy. Salads and bread, and small bite sized desserts. Really convenient location and the Diet Coke was fresh in a glass of ice. We really liked it and will do it again when we come to this theater.

Had Dinner at Van Wezel before attending Come From Away. Dinner was absolutely delicious!! The food was wonderful and we made sure to let the chef know. Our waitress Annalia was an absolute delight and made sure that the dinner was the start of a perfect evening.

Do NOT waste your money. There was a time that Mattison‘a did a great job at the Van Wezel. Where to begin. Cheese and crackers- no crackers. Cold bread. Lousy butter. Brie on croute- cold. Cheese not melted. Tomato /coke salad- rotten squishy tomatoes. The main course table. The rib roast was fine. The au jus- cold and basically water with a tiny bit of pan drippings. The potatoes COLD. The chopped ‘sautéed onions” totally cold. The dessert “table”- a joke. Sad. So very sad. And assuming this speaks to the mattison management I will NOT be eating at their 2 restaurants.!

Yikes. Even cheaper tasting than their downtown location. Catering is not their Forte. Food is a second thought
