Excellent experience at Matthew’s Steakhouse in Winter Park, Orlando. The chicken was absolutely amazing, and the ambiance created a perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The wine recommendations were spot on and paired beautifully with the meal.
Our server Nicole and the entire staff took great care of both our food and our time, making the experience feel attentive without ever being rushed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience.

Our first time and while the service was excellent and the food was delicious…we were disappointed in the portion size given the high prices. The “Colossal” Shrimps(2) for $14 were at most medium sized and not worth the cost. The baked potatoes were on the smallish side. The kicker was the 5oz house Cab wine for $24! Not cool.
While we enjoyed the experience and the food…it is unlikely we will be back due to the disparity between portions and price.

This was our first time visiting Mathew’s Steakhouse and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had great service and the ambiance of the restaurant is relaxing and upscale. The quality of the steaks is outstanding. From appetizers, entrees to deserts, everything we had tasted amazing. The head chef Eddie and hostess Chrystal were very friendly making sure we had a great experience. We will definitely be back in the future.

Matthew’s Steakhouse offered me an amazing experience. I reserved an 8:30 time slot for my birthday, and while I was late about 20 minutes they were still very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, and if I lived in FL, I would return again and again. Thank you to the staff at Matthew’s for a memorable birthday celebration!!!

Matthew’s Steakhouse is one of my favorite spots in Winter Garden. The food is consistently excellent, the filet mignon is my go-to and it always hits with that Parmesan cheese sauce. The space itself has a high-end feel without being too formal, which makes it great whether you’re out with friends or celebrating something special.
Chystal and Eddie, the owners, bring a real sense of community to the place. You can tell they care about the people who come in and about supporting local, like the drink menu that features local businesses as fun names and inspired drinks. I dont often participate in reviews, My wife and i sat at the bar and ordered steaks they were very good as all 3 occasions prior. Out bartender Monroe was less than gracious. She was most interested in suggesting the most expensive items on the menu, no personality, smile etc. My manhattan was good but a 2oz pour (as stated on menu) for 38.00 is insane not mention my wifes martini was approx 27.00. I believe if we consider returning we will not have cocktails. The owner as usual was very pleasant as well as back up bartender/server.

On January 3, my boyfriend and I went to dinner at Matthew’s Steakhouse. Unfortunately, our overall experience was very unpleasant. While the ambiance of the restaurant was nice, the food did not meet our expectations, especially considering the high prices. We felt the quality did not justify the cost.
Additionally, we had a negative interaction with the host. When I politely asked to be seated on a specific side of the restaurant, she told me that the table was reserved. However, shortly after, I overheard another couple say they did not have a reservation, yet they were seated at the same table I had requested. This made me feel that I was not treated honestly or fairly.
Because of these issues, our dining experience was disappointing, and I do not feel it reflected the level of service one would expect from a restaurant of this reputation.

It was an incredible night, with exceptional food and service. Unfortunately, for one detail, it does not deserve 5 stars, as shown in the attached photo. A restaurant of this standard and with this price should not serve a drink with rotten fruit, that is disgusting. Apart from this incident, the quality of everything we ate was incredible, and our server was very friendly and helpful.

Mathew’s Steakhouse is such a unique restaurant. They locally source all their ingredients, even the spirits and beers they serve at the bar. They also honor the local stores in the downtown neighborhood by creating cocktails inspired by them. We only went for drinks and sat at the bar and Monroe took such good care of us. Cocktails were delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely come back for dinner.
